Christmas day dinner at restaurant or pub
Weston Super Saint replied to Golactico's topic in The Lounge
Depends on your budget! If you are happy with boil in the bag meat, frozen, recooked roast potatoes, frozen mixed veg, frozen puddings etc and want to pay around £25-£40 per head, then go to one of the chain pubs like Harvester, Hungry Horse, fayre and square etc. If you want home cooking then go to a local independent restaurant / bistro - probably best to try it late November / early December before making a booking though!! - probably looking around £50+ per head. Avoid all hotels! -
To be fair it's fine to speculate that they would be back in L2 had they started again, but the reality is they would have had : - No team. - No Ground. - No training ground. - No infrastructure. - No backroom staff. - No youth setup. - No money. - No debt. That doesn't indicate that they would immediately bounce back through the leagues. Besides, this way is MUCH funnier and this particular dish is best served very cold!

Panic Saturday - Reports from the frontline

I'm done as well - thank you Amazon you make my life so easy every year The remainder of the food shop needs finishing but I'm providing plenty of moral support for that Just got the present wrapping to do now, but since I'm at work on Monday morning it can be done then -
Not in Monaco it's not! There's only one set of 'bestest' fans in the world [tm].
-
The only reason the opposing teams are so eager to play in the 'massive' match at fortress fatpipes is because of the bumper points giveaway currently being offered.

Is that Shhhttteeeevvvveeee Mclaren or 'Arry 'Rosie' Redknapp on the right hand side, waiting in the wings, sipping some tepid [fetid?] coffee? Also, PMSFLMFAO at the other picture with the flag and the rather dodgy stains on it
-
Fixed for you Nice to see three arrests have now been made and the 'Head Office' of the Sodje 'corporation' - a three bed house in South London - has been raided and computers etc removed.
-
To be fair, it's the closest he's gonna get to an actual England player whilst at the skates
-
I'm sure all that nobhead neil will read is 'fans that are champions league class'

Does Colin hold an official capacity at PFC? If so, is he really suggesting that the ground regulations don't apply to some fans in some cases? If so, what is the point of the ground regulations?

Loving the new era of transparency Also, £1,000 for a share buys you absolutely NO say whatsoever in the running of the club http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/po...boss-1-5721427

Will we POSFLOFAO when they make the appointment?
-
Seems at odds to this website : http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/fc-portsmouth/transfers/verein_1020.html Although it doesn't mention any specific figures, it does suggest that they have been involved in cash transactions on three occasions this season. Would be interesting to find out if the amount that was due on the 19th November was paid

We've just had our front door replaced by Valuedoors. They have NO sales people at all. You select what you want online and it gives you the price. The fitter - local self employed tradesmen who rely on reputation - comes and measures and confirms your choice. They place the order and do the fitting as well, so you get knowledgeable tradesmen instead of pushy salesmen who don't know what they are talking about and want to make as much from you as possible. Despite their name, they do also do windows : http://www.valuedoorsuk.co.uk/windows.php Would be well worth getting a couple of quotes in and then seeing how they compare...

They don't care how far they have to go back until they find a victory do they!

FPMSFLROFLMFAO Pompey football club, making a loss since 1899, leopards, spots etc...

This is a call for the infamous snooze picture to be posted with someone highlighting this ransom strip that is owned by the Pink Panther It's odd that it was never included in the original article, but I guess the signs have been there for many years with the factless one
-
Lol. Let's hope they don't actually get to a 'real' cup final. They'd have absolutely no chance
-
The real question is, how do you know the person you are handing the money / item in to is honest? Let's say you hand it in at the post office counter, do you know what happens to it after that? Perhaps they kept it? The same goes for a shop or finding a wallet in a pub. There is no legal precedence for them to hand it in to the police or trace the owner, so who knows what will happen to it after that. Your conscience will be clear, but how do you know if they even have a conscience?

Ooops, just re-read your post - oh for the chance to edit

To be fair, Trousers did state he had played five, whereas #factless stated very publicly that he had played 11. Can we give this one back to Trousers?
-
More missing facts from #factless. He clearly hasn't read the press release that states that 'the bestest fans in the whole world, ever, DO NOT boo their own team, ever, under any circumstances'.

Which of course means no! How much money is 'still to come in' and where is it 'coming in' from? My understanding of events like this is that you turn up, pay your money and go in. I'm pretty sure they haven't allowed 100 fans to turn up on 'credit', even if they did, they'd know how much money was owed to them. So, come on Micah, where is all this additional money 'coming in' from? What happened to this new era of transparency? Is it only for good news?
