  2. Lol. Pretty soon it'll just be 'Appy sat on the bench
  3. Anyone know why Chinny's bid is now 'not ready'? Seems a little suspicious to me. A few weeks ago, before he pulled out, his bid was on the table, the CVA had been agreed and everything was going to go ahead 'within a week'. I really can't see what's changed now. Presumably he has just re-submitted his original bid with a few minor tweaks, but surely it still essentially consists of the same amounts of money being offered to the same people - £500k in total isn't it for the CVA? The only thing that may be different is the administrators allocated fee! They had a little spat over Birch reducing his fees, so maybe Chinny has put in his new bid, with a new revised figure for PKF? Other than that, I can't see any possible reason why Chinny's bid wouldn't be 'ready'.
  4. I can think of two he hasn't welched on 1. I am secure, I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK 2. I won't let PFC be liquidated See, he's an honorable gentleman
  5. Lol @ Mero! Of course Chinny is worried about the long term future of the club - well the short term until the PPs run out! He knows if the trust take over the club will not receive the golden ticket, and will effectively be liquidated. Liquidated club = no PPs for Chinny Like he said, he isn't prepared to see the club liquidated as he's got a lot of cash tied up that he wants to get his grubby hands on!
  6. Probably the same people who claimed you had a world class academy
  7. My tip : Learn to make good coffee and how to wash up For the first month of the baby's life, all you will be doing is making coffee for the numerous visitors coming to gawk at the wrinkly Winston Churchill lookalike.
  8. It's hard to tell where he stops talking about the fans
  9. No, no they didn't get -10 for exiting their first [third?] admin two? years ago! They got -9 for entering admin in the prem. They then exited that admin by way of a CVA, which meant the FL did not impose a 10 point penalty - different from us, as technically we exited our admin without agreeing a CVA, as ML had agreed a payment schedule with our creditors. Since SFC was NOT in admin, it was impossible to exit with an agreed CVA - the FL still stung us for -10 on a 'technicality'. PFC then got another 10 point deduction last Feb for once again entering admin. They will get another 10 point deduction when they get taken over / bought this season - or in the close season whenever it happens - if the agree CVA2 without the approval of CVA1 creditors as this will amount to the same thing as exiting admin without a CVA. They COULD approach CVA1 creditors and get them to agree to CVA2, thus avoiding further penalties, but ever since Birch's request for CVA1 creditors to get in touch, it's all gone very quiet! There was also some bluster from Birch stating they would easily appeal the -10 when they are sold, but as far as anyone can tell, the stipulation for the FLs golden share is to accept the deduction with no right of appeal - as they did with us. They COULD of course stay in admin all season and take the -10 at the beginning of next season, but I'd suspect there is nowhere near enough funds to pay Trevor and his merry men until next May!!
  10. Have the trust re-submitted a new bid? Surely they must have, because the old bid said they were categorically closing the academy down in 2 years, yet the sporting life article suggests they are going to rebuild it! I do like the way it suggests that the trust are professional
  11. Nah. They're trying to decipher the crayon scribblings and funny looking drawings in the margin. Apparently one looks like it's labeled "Monkey chicken petting zoo".
  12. Did Colin have no input into the PST bid? Especially the condition from PCC that said they would not lend any more unless there were no other bids - along with many other caveats I would suggest that this affects the trust's bid in a pretty disastrous way!
  13. Indeed! Allegedly he only owed HMRC £1.8m when he left. That's what, 20 times LESS than Pompey have managed to accrue! Pretty sure HMRC would back a takeover led by him to the hilt! They'll know they'll still be shafted for tax, VAT, NI etc, but it'll be a hell of a lot less than the shaftings they've taken in the past!
  14. Two things I don't get : 1. Neil Allen told us that there was no need to panic, there was enough money to run the club until January - well, there is if a couple of mugs cough up £60k! But now all of a sudden the club will be liquidated in two weeks [again!] if Chinny doesn't take over! Which one is it? 2. Is Chinny a hero again now? He's been a hero and a villian so many times, it's hard to keep up! I guess we should all really on Neil's informed opinion
  15. Too long, didn't read?
  16. Yep. I wonder how many of the charities they've ripped off could be paid back with the £60k - probably all of them???
  17. Is that the same as Chinny 'offered' to pay all the creditors under £2.5k
  18. No, no, that can't be true! PES told us that they NEVER boo their players, never ever! Well, except for the players that want to be paid their wages for turning up, those guys are fair game to be boo'd!
  19. All available online these days, no more need for the door to door sales! http://www.amway.co.uk/home/cleaners
  20. The first car is a taxi. Is it Jeff or Essruu?
  21. Fear not! Tomorrow is a home game, and according to the PCC that will bring in a handy £12.5m to the Island of Dr Moreau [sp]. With 15,300 tickets sold, that's just a mere £817 per fan[sic] for the day. I do hope someone has told the 2,300 Boscombe fans to make sure they've got enough cash in their wallets
  22. Where have you been FF? Lampitt applied to become a secured, golden ticket, football creditor when they went into admin - or just before? Neil Pompey Pravda Allen missed this little gem at the time as he was far too bust foaming at the mouth and protesting the innocence of the Russian pension stealing mafia owner. It is amusing that they are able to once again circumvent the rules by signing players on a monthly non contract, contract. I expect the FL will be closing this loophole quicker than Avram's trouser come down..... nah, you know the rest, Rallyboy has been telling us for way over a year now! The interesting thing though, is that they can 'technically' continue to trade in administration for the rest of this season, confirming to come out of admin the day after the season ends. During this time, they can continue to sign the non contract contracts every month, thus circumventing the FL's stipulation that they are under a transfer embargo! They will also circumvent the -10 that the league have imposed for when they do come out of admin - thus it will be applied next season! And to top it all off, they can completely ignore the FL's financial prudence measures as these won't become effective until after they come out of admin! NOTE, THIS IS ALL "TECHNICALLY" POSSIBLE! Whether it will actually happen is another thing altogether. Although the best thing, if it did happen, it would ensure that every single last penny of PPs would be paid to Birch and PKF!
  23. Does anyone know the definition of fickle?
  24. To be fair to Claridge - who IS a tool - even if he had those thoughts way back then, there is no way he could have expressed them to the knuckle draggers! Look at all the Pompey fans being branded as farking scaaaammmmmaaaaasssss and b-anned from POL just for holding an opinion contrary to the norm! Add that to the treatment of TBH et al who were perceived to have 'wronged' Pompey by asking for the money that was rightfully theirs! They received bile and resentment from the local rag and death threats from the local inbreds. Had Claridge been brave enough to voice his opinions a few years ago, I suspect he would have been pushing up daisies ever since!
  25. Anyone know when the squad numbers need to be registered with the league? Would be a nice Sunday afternoon giggle to take a look at the PFC submission page
