Hockey, unfortunately you are quoting two separate issues! There is a legal obligation to price correctly - I believe each individual item that is priced incorrectly can be subject to a fine of up to £5000 - note the phrase 'up to' as this implies that the fine can be lower, which hopefully clarifies your second example I have a feeling your student para legal friend is going to take a while to pass if he is studying UK consumer Law

The proof is in the pudding! Since the legacy debts have been 'settled' and all the monkeys have been packed off to the zoo never to return, can anyone confirm that the clock is hanging proudly where it once sat, ticking away noisily and keeping the right time? Surely that's physical evidence that the debts have been 'settled' Unless of course this particular settlement started with " You can keep your stupid clock, we've got far more important monkeys to be packing off here...."

No mention of the £160m plus debt!

There will be this weekend now that you've just reminded nobhead neil what's been missing from his epic prologues.

Morals and PFC are not compatible

For the record that is very much a rhetorical question and doesn't in any way shape or form need answering.

For me, it's the thought of where that finger has been that has me gagging!

The land issue is probably complicated due to all the various charges listed against it - Chinny, Dubov, Local Council, PFA, HMRC etc etc. Does anyone know where this little strip of land is? How significant is it? Have the snooze ever printed a googlemaps image of it like they did with a who owns what around fratton? I'm going to guess that the land is no more than a dirt track leading nowhere significant....

Portsmouth, the ship of Theseus : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_Theseus I prefer to think of them as Trigger's broom...
-
You say potato, I say potato! Either way it sounds expensive What do we think, another £100k or so gone to Pompey's lawyers? Has that reduced the [non] fan owned holding even more?

Looks like that trip to the sceptic isle has had more of an effect on you than initially thought

If it is a contract phone and you have completed the contract, the pretty sure they are not allowed to refuse to unlock the phone.... If it is a phone you have bought and is locked, then as CB said, contact t-mobile and wave cold hard cash in front of them...

Apparently this week a pound in the bucket will buy you a go on 'pin the tail on the donkey'* for the chance to win a virtual carrot! *There is no tail **Nor a donkey

Artur's back garden in the bushes? -
If you honestly believe that the innernetz has these sorts of far reaching consequences, can I politely suggest you go and spend a little more time in the pub - or anywhere outside in the fresh air???

Ssssshhhhhh! You're forgetting the golden rule! If you say something enough times on the sceptic isle it becomes truth! E.G. Scum / dockstrikes. 100% own the club. Debt free. Own the training ground. Penny Morduant is fit. Bestest fans in the world. Blue print for fan ownership. Etc etc....

If they build all that then they'll be rattling those buckets again pretty soon as they'll need a lot more than £240k - assuming they build the fence
-
I guess they don't actually have the cash to pay for the solicitors until the collection buckets are emptied? Also, isn't 2015 when the academy is proposed to be self funding? I'm guessing when the time comes around, they won't have an academy anyway, so won't need the money raised. This can then be spunked on replacing the fat in the pipes for the bestest shiniest fat and the skates will lap up the headlines. Obligatory year of birth post too Also, 'The9' - it is safe to post on this page

Ahhhh, welcome back football and welcome back cup finals :-)

Because there will be a shiny new bit of tarmac laid which will allow a couple of ambulances and a burger van to park up between the football arena and the fish counter. It's all about perspective really.

Did you miss your last three administrations? Pretty sure hero Kanu was mentioned in at least two of those when he had the amount of wages he was owed reduced on both occasions! If that's not 'proof' then I'm not sure what you will accept as 'proof'?
