  1. Budgie smugglers are the answer. Wearing budgie smugglers = absolutely no chance whatsoever of sitting / damaging the nut sack. HTH.
  2. Jim appears to have conveniently forgotten that the prem money has already filtered down to the lowest tier and if it wasn't for the fact that they owed so much money to so many people it would be putting the other teams at a disadvantage! Convenient how they forget their recent history in the rush to blame everyone but themselves
  3. Lol. I thought that nobhead neil had been quiet on the subject, but it appears they are still training at Jurassic Park. I'm stunned that no-one else will give them the chance to train somewhere else, but I guess their credit terms are unacceptable.
  4. I assume you have a link to this information that you are happy to share with the group? Perhaps it is al there in black and white in biznezz plan v9.076?
  5. I agree. I find it deliciously entertaining when nobhead neil does things like that. It just shows how small time and pathetic he is - just like the twitter argument yesterday! - and goes to show why he is the perfect journalist[sic] for the small time and pathetic club.
  6. Lol. Is this another example of the communication company not being able to communicate effectively with their customers, as no-one knows what is available to whom! Ditched BT a number of years ago in favour of Sky which uses all of BT's hardware but charges at least a third less. Is it worth getting in touch with BT to point out their restrictive practices by offering this service free for Virgin? I cannot get cable as it hasn't been laid so surely this is a restriction of trade?
  7. I suspect he's been watching England matches through his 'special' Pompey watching glasses if he thinks that England have an international standing! What exactly have England done in the last 47 years apart from consistently fail to deliver anything! I do love the irony of all those skate fans advocating using the yoof!
  8. WTF? I have no idea what phil has posted, no clue at all. Phil, you don't make sense at the best of times, but that post is just inane rambling in your usual I don't know feck all way!
  9. So 10k season tickets sold. Council reduced capacity to 18k. 6k tickets left. Means only 2k - including away fans for their FA cup final - have bought tickets. Did anyone mention that selling the season tickets so cheaply would mean the numbers just don't add up?
  10. Next month? As in September? The parachute payments, ever since this saga began, have always been in February and August. Still it wouldn't be the first time the skates have promised to pay back a debt from money they know doesn't exist.
  11. Don't be so silly. ALL of the money for local schools and charities was paid back in FULL! There was a tremendous effort from local people[sic] and businesses that raised the money from their own hard earned wages[sic]. There is of course absolutely no factual evidence for this, but some random on the snooze website stated this as fact once and so the pompey myth was born.
  12. To be fair, not even the nuttiest nutjob predicted that it would only take two games before they started making the demands. I think September was the earliest prediction Credit where it's due, they have proved once again that this particular leopard will never change its spots! What happened to the 'I'm just glad we have a team to support' brigade? I'm sure Corpse was a staunch member of that team for a while...
  13. Whitless wants a squad of '20'. Do they still have a limit imposed by the FL - I thought this was finished once they finally exited admin? IF so, why all of a sudden do they want to limit the squad to 20? They've spent the last four seasons in admin moaning about the 20 player limit and how it was 'unfair', 'noncompetitive' and stifling their ability to cover injuries.
  14. Lol. I wasn't aware that nobhead neil understood irony
  15. Lol, I thought that said 'CLOCK' to make up for the missing one that they can't afford
  16. Apparently one of the issues is with a stairwell in one of the stands. The compromise is to reduce the capacity until the stairwell gets redesigned and rebuilt. I have a feeling that won't be cheap
  17. a. The team didn't play very well in front of the large crowds the last time they had them - in Premier League and Championship. I guess the crowd don't really have that much influence on the team b. The opposition being intimidated by a large pikey crowd is another portsmyth perpetuated by nobhead neil. It isn't true, nor is the myth that the ref can't handle such a big game in such a big atmosphere. c. The discounted ticket sales will bring a little revenue but any increase they see will need to be spent on falling down park, hence the policy they have had where they have signed lots of free agents this summer. I seem to recall we once had a similar policy, how did that work out for us Which just leaves the fact that they still have a tried and tested terrible manager I won't go so far as to say they will be relegated. My prediction is a failure in the play offs - they won't get to the final.
  18. 'Nuff said?
  19. Because, as usual the Pompey Maffs do not add up! It appears that the £2.47m also includes the £110,000 that hasn't been converted yet. For some odd reason they have included the £110,000 into the headline figure of £2.47m, but haven't included it in the PST percentage. Unsure why it would be included in one but not the other, but hey, it's not like the skates to massage figures is it (247m - 0.11m / 4.12m = 57% ish). I do like the way that those are the only figures they have actually produced and they still don't add up. The rest is all just percentages, which frankly are meaningless if they don't provide the actual figures that they are a percentage of!
  20. Either I fell asleep a couple of months ago or dumb skate in Surrey from that snews article is making stuff up! Can anyone provide a link to the super bestest fans in the whole wide world clubbing together and paying of the charities 'some months ago'? You'd have thought that even with the worst journalist in the world, ever, on the paper, even the snews would have picked up on this and trumpeted it to the whole world?
  21. To be fair, you guys produced it
  22. Lol. Not sure they should worry too much about that
  23. The accounts from the end of the last year that haven't been published yet tell their own story Of course if I were a skate, I wouldn't be worried either, after all the PST spin doctor told us over and over not to worry because everything was in the biznezz plan, no matter how many issues were raised they were all covered. That would definitely not be ringing alarm bells for me, no sir, no way.
  24. Welcome to the clear and transparent new era of fan ownership
  25. 19,001 doesn't seem to be all that special if I'm honest.
