Just worked out how much my SP30's cost on Insurance
Weston Super Saint replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
Lol. I've had that for the last 12 years - always had three on my licence, but had six for one month once! My latest 3 points are up in June, so no doubt I'll get another three then! -
Calm down dear! No-one's been 'outed'. SG gave a hint as to the initials of the Ho. Everything else is just guesses and unconfirmed speculation. Even IF that speculation is correct, then the information gleaned is just stuff that was / is in the public domain anyway - if you don't want people to know who you are, don't create facebook / linkedIn / myspace or whatever profiles in the first place! Besides, I'm not sure that any harm has been done, a few jokes linking corpse with his job; all lighthearted and some of them quite funny, and that's about it! It's not like anyone has posted his address and promised to go round and 'sort him out' - I guess most people don't really 'hate' him as much as you may think

FFS! Now it's the Italians making the corpse look like a complete and utter tool - is there no end to this guys international notoriety! I mean, it was only last week, or the week before, that the Corpse was on here telling us we were all bed wetting conspiracy theorists and that Pompey were in fact, contrary to our beliefs, a sustainable, cash making, profit turning, not linked to their parent company in any way, really cracking buy for anyone wishing to invest in the last un-developed club in the South. A true 'sleeping giant'! Today we have a public statement from what appears to be a truly honest, smart, not old at all, certainly no more than 50 years old, definitely not the same person who was busted for fraud 40 years ago [when he can only have been 10 years old tops], intelligent, truly awesome businessman, who has got through all the doors and is knocking on the front door of Pompey where he'll be the first one in every morning to turn the lights on and the last one out to turn them off again. And he's telling us that they owe in total 33 MILLION pounds worth of money to other people. Not only that, but he states that the club will need and ADDITIONAL 10 MILLION pounds to get it through to the end of May!!! Sorry corpse, but one of you is telling porkies, and from what I've read spouted from both of you - thanks trousers for the links - I'm slightly more inclined to believe the Italian!
-
Firstly, many apologies for snipping you Trousers Secondly, these guys certainly bring new meaning to the phrase 'sleeping with the fishes' I can't think of anyone more suitable for the skates than these guys! And people ask how this thread has reached 47,000 posts! It really is comedy gold sometimes

Well, from the article linked above - October 2010 - it would appear they had half the first parachute payment of £8m to get through that season. So, still due : £8m - the other half. £16m £8m £8m However, £22.8m is due to football creditors, so they won't see a penny of that. That leaves : 8+16+8+8 = £40m - £22.8m = £17.2m [at best, if they haven't already taken more in advance]. However, they still owe 20% of £80m in CVA, which equals roughly £16m - I know the 20% is less expenses, but that is what will be paid to the creditors, the expenses will still need to be paid!!!! That leaves, by my calculations, a mere £1.2m from all those parachute payments. How much is gaydamack owed, about £1.5m isn't it? That leaves them needing to find £300k just to pay the basic amounts owed. All this while needing £10.8m cash injection this season [i've not included that as a debt as no-one has asked for it back yet!], just to continue playing Once again, the figures DO NOT add up, although I'm sure the corpse will continue to claim they are debt free and a very attractive proposition for someone to buy!!! ps, all those figures don't include any of the money owing to Chinny and his lucrative interest rates as that money is allegedly covered by his charge over the arena!

No doubt he'll reply that what he wrote there was just a rumour that he was passing on - even though there is no mention of that in the post. Also he'll concoct some scenario to try and claim he's not responsible for what he's written, or that it was just a joke, or some other feeble reason why we're all a bunch of lunatics and it's a conspiracy to try and make him look bad. You know, the usual corspe bullocks that he spouts after posting a load of smelly brown stuff. Either that or he'll just deny he ever wrote it, like he tries to do many times.

Cue the Corpse with his claims of 'still not inextricably linked financially', and AA claiming they're a solvent business to anyone who is still stupid enough to be listening to him!

UK police seek return of Lib Dem donor
Weston Super Saint replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
The AVERAGE salary for an MP is over £65k per annum : http://www.parliament.uk/about/mps-and-lords/members/pay-mps/ That hardly puts them in a salary bracket that is in touch with the average man on the street! I would go so far as to say that a salary of £65k + lucrative expenses, puts MPs in the 'wealthy individual' category as it is -

Hmmmm. Not the best use of our hard earned taxes is it? We already pay : 1. Their lucrative salaries. 2. Their lucrative expenses. 3. Their lucrative pension schemes. Perhaps it's time they became 'self funded'? -
It really is time to bring back the death penalty
Weston Super Saint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Lounge
You seem to be blurring the boundaries between manslaughter and murder. If you can prove beyond reasonable doubt that someone committed pre-meditated murder, then surely it should not make the slightest bit of difference as to how many people were murdered? -

Weston Super Saint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Lounge
I'm confused???? Are you saying you would sentence the Norwegian fella to death because he killed 70 odd people, but if someone murdered just one person you'd give them the benefit of doubt and thus allow them to potentially murder another two people before you would sentence them to death? Justice is a concept of moral rightness based on ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion, or equity, along with the punishment of the breach of said ethics; justice is the act of being just and/or fair.[2] - does this not make justice pretty similar to revenge? As for me, I'd go for hanging every time - a good old fashioned public hanging, make a day of it I say. -
Personally I'm really confident with this announcement. The Corporate Whore has been very quiet this week. I suspect that's because he is counting and sorting his coppers in order to scrape together the pound needed to buy the club. Finally, Pompey will have an owner with a real, valid reason for owning the club, which will allow the Ho to finally post a prediction that will come true I can't wait.

Because the sugar daddy financing the company[ies] with [alleged] stolen money no longer has access to the [alleged] stolen money so can no longer continue to fund the solvent subsidiaries, not that he needed to do that in first place, what with them being self financing and all.....

CSI only has one creditor and that is Chinny boy. Since he's also a creditor of Pompey, then I guess he gets to say where the money goes - if he believes keeping Pompey alive is worth more in the long run, then I'm sure he'll let the money go that way.
-
Which reminds me, how is AA doing with the sale of the other company CSI owns - we all know it's the rights to WRC even if he didn't come out and say it! That was a nailed on certainty to happen the week before Xmas wasn't it, with the money going to fund the billionaire lifestyle of TBH?? No news is good news I guess, but who for

500 people queuing outside Next in Weston Super Mare at 05:30. Mrs WSS worked the day - usual carnage - but the store took £165,000 in sales in one day. Like 'em or hate 'em, you've got to agree that Next know how to make money from the needy and desperate! I stayed at home with the little one and played Mario Kart Wii while Mrs WSS worked

I don't believe it's been restored since it was pulled two years ago

Fellas, how much do you spend on a hair cut?
Weston Super Saint replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Lounge
I replace my hair clippers roughly every two years. So, on average about £12.50 a year, or roughly £1 per month for me -
So, rather than try and claim he hasn't stolen the money from innocent people, you try and muddy the waters with this garbled clap trap. I wonder what all this deflection really means I suspect it means that deep down the corpse really does believe Vlad is a crook.
-
Yes. £10.8m of money stolen from Latvian and Lithuanian pensioners. Unless of course you can come up with an alternative source for this £10.8m, becuase your CEO seems to believe it came directly from Antonov. And as we all know Antonov's money came from stealing money from pensioners in foreign climes....

Roast Dinner recipe : Take a leisurely stroll to Morrisons on Xmas Eve. Pick up leg of lamb from the butcher. Stroll home. Put lamb in fridge and allow to cool for 24 hours. Wake up Mrs WSS on Xmas day - if the kids haven't already done this. Remind Mrs WSS what time dinner should be ready - about 3pm would be nice. Plonk fat arse on the sofa and watch a lovely xmassy movie. As if by magic the dinner apears on dining table. Not sure how else it can be done to be honest

Also a bloody good job that he's made no mention of trying very hard to sell one of the businesses that belong to CSI - how is that sale coming along, it was meant ot be this week wasn't it - and using that money to invest [sic] in PFC2010 to keep the club afloat. No siree, no mention of that happening was there

At the bottom of the cars - little black round things

But he could play a blinder now by not going All those skates smacking seven bells out of each other looking for the 'scummer', would be very funny.
