Do you have a driving licence? Why not look into becoming a bus driver? Pretty sure they provide full training, the job can't be that hard to do, it's only driving after all, the wages are complimentary - if not more! - than retail wages, and apart from putting up with the pikeys and chavs on the bus, I guess the hours can't be too bad..... You could use it as a stop gap - take a year off from job hunting, earn some money and let the economy begin it's recovery - and if you still want to go back to retail I guess there will be a lot more jobs available in 12-18 months time....

No, no, no, it's an Iphone Having spent the last year converting from the horror that is windo$e, first to a macbook, then an imac and finally an iphone, I have to say I am very happy to be rid of the microsoft disaster - I still have a chuckle when Mrs WSS cusses and shout at her windo$e laptop that crashes most times that she loads up facebook However, I would have one suggestion to make the iphone completely unbeatable, and that would be to give it a feminine side and allow it to multitask! If I'm busy doing something on the phone - sending an email or 'on the net' and receive a text, I would very much like to 'minimise' what I'm doing to send a reply, and then resume once I'm done.... Not a huge ask, and I'm hopeful this will be resolved in the next software update, but for now it is a little annoying.....

It's not so much as can't be bothered, rather knowing when you're fighting a losing battle! Sadly he was allocated this school when we moved to the area and our appeals to have him relocated to another school were rejected by the council as the other, better, school was full! I would love to take this up with the school, but fear it will go the same way as everything else with the school and be completely ignored. And I agree completely that it is most likely the school's fault that they haven't grasped the technology available to them, they haven't even mastered the relatively simple text messaging system yet, as we received a text from them at 14.30 today informing us that the school would be open as normal from 08:30 this morning Also, I wasn't bemoaning the fact that the Gov't had set this initiative up - I was all for it, and could see the benefits in the system when we lived in Wales and the school he was attending there had managed to make it work!!! - I do however have an issue with the fact that people who introduced the initiative don't appear to have gone back to check that the schools are capable / able to use it properly!

Well, I consider myself to be a have rather than a have not, and I pay for my own innernetz and computers. We have a son at school - final year GCSEs - and a daughter just started primary school. We were given a website address two years ago by our son's school for checking attendance figures, grades, homework set, etc etc, but were told we needed an access code to get into it - fair enough, as you wouldn't want everyone looking at potentially sensitive information - BUT two years on, we still have not received said access code, and the website hasn't been updated in all that time. So another initiative from the Bliar / Brown gov't that has gone completely to pot. I wonder how much money was invested in the first place to provide every teacher with a laptop and get the school up and running with it's connection??? As for the junior school, well they seem to be taking a far more traditional approach to teaching by teaching the kids to read and supplying them with books, it may be old school methods, but it certainly appears to be far more effective so far.....

To be fair, it's both his legs
-
To be fair, that guy clearly has a history of not looking where he's going - look at the cut on his left leg for evidence... Also, your 'Bl00dy cat poo' quote is incorrect if the numerous mentions of dogsh1 in the image url are to be believed... Dogs **** on the ground, get over it! Until they introduce a law introduce every animal owner to pick up the **** of the animals they own - including horses, and cows crossing public highways - then dog owners should not be discriminated against.

I'm waiting for the inevitable announcement from Mr Jacobs stating that the money has gone missing. It was in his account last night, we all know that as he told SSN, but this morning when he went to the bank to pay the wages the money had disappeared, he obviously doesn't know where it's gone, but it'll surely be blamed on a bank error - again!

Well, I'm assuming he's not the brightest crayon in the box, as his email address - which he's made public  - is aaron_kempson123@hotmail.com Pretty sure that even the dumbest police officer with the absolute worst record of solving crimes wouldn't take more than an hour or so to track him down.... -
You're not getting paid, neither are you, nor you, nope you're not either....

iPhone 3G is absolutely free on Orange - tied in to a 24 month contract though at about £36 per month....
-
Well I've had a few recently so here goes : HTC Touch G1 - this was an awesome phone and could have done some serious damage to the iphone market, however it was tied in to a T-mobile contract! They then went an forced through an update to the phone which destroyed it to the point that standing next to the phone and calling it from a landline and it wouldn't even ring! It could have been a contender Blackberry - tried a few different ones of these out and they seem awesome for work, email is great and battery life is huge, but if you want the internet then give it a miss! Equivalent of approx 56k dial up modem is slow Nokia 5800 - awesome phone for music and mp3 player. Great for apps too with the Ovi store. But just way too fiddly with that little stylus thingy for tapping out messages etc. Super quick internet too with 3.5g, but just looks a bit crap really! So, which phone did I end up with - God I'm starting to sound like Ess!!! - that's right, I went with the iPhone! Frankly it takes all the good bits from all the other phones and puts them in one place. OK the battery life is a bit short - especially if using the internet, iPod, Apps, etc - but it cost me £3.50 to get two additional usb leads and let's face it, who's not near a computer most of the time these days!!
-
Why not look at one of those electric scooters? About £500 to buy - new - do about 30mph, and cost about 8p to recharge for 30 miles of travel, a lot cheaper than a normal scooter! Plus, the tax is really laughable at a whopping £0 per annum! For getting to and from work in a town / city, it would be ideal, anything longer / further would be a pain though I guess...

Lol. One of the ideas on there is to start the game in front of an empty stadium If that one worked, they would have had the answers the seek at the end of August!

Can you tell us where you've put these simulators recently??

Katie Price / Jordan or whatever she changes her name to this year.

Conversely I f*cking love the fact that the pub is only open for 3 hours - 2 and a half if I can get rid of the pikeys any quicker
-
You two should have a dinner party I'm wondering if it would end in a fight??
-
If my Missus walked into the bedroom wearing a pair of those - and looking like that! - even if it was the middle of August, I'd certainly think it was Christmas
-
No, it's not what I was saying at all - and I think you know it However, for clarity, what I was saying is that those 6 people who sit in the Itchen, DID have a chance - however slim that may have been - of purchasing their own seat, if they had acted quickly when the seats went on sale, unlike people who sit in the Kingsland who had NO CHANCE - none at all, zip, nada, nothing - of purchasing their own seat, as their stand was closed!!
-
I think you fail to see the glaring and ridiculously obvious reason why this cannot happen. The Kingsland stand is not open, therefore - and you may not like this bit, because there are other season ticket holders in the ground other than in the Itchen stand!!! - they cannot possibly get their own seats! Besides, doing it the way the club are, DOES give the people who sit in the Itchen a chance to get their own seat - unlike the Kingsland, who have NO CHANCE - they just have to be the first ones to call, visit the ticket office or book online!!! The club has been run badly by idiots for many years now, personally I think picking holes in this common sense approach we now have is a bit petty, and if those people who have left it too late to get their own seat are going to boycott the game because of that, then we will probably be better off without them!

Is that guy on the right wearing the tie called 'LifelongCherryPipSaintSkate'??
