It was a horse that came in on an Each Way bet, therefore more than 4 people are trusting enough to collect there [almost] four grand in winnings. 3. Once again it's all make believe.

To be fair it was meant as a flippant throw away comment regarding the maths and the fact that the money hasn't appeared for the alleged takeover. But, since we are turning it into a psychological observation, the question still exists; 'would you trust someone to collect your £1250 [+ £10 stake], from the bookies for you'????
