  1. They'll probably dress it up by saying he's busy preparing the team for Saturday.
  2. There will be a fair few more leaving than those three should we go down. Its incredibly hard to support the team when the football you are watching is arguably just as tedious as when Ralph was in charge. Wasn't a huge fan of Ralph toward the end of his tenure, but I do feel he has a right to question why he wasn't supported with the striking buys that Jones has had.
  3. To be honest, would rather have Bednarek in the team over Lyanco.
  4. Admire your positive outlook on this. To be honest,I think he has lost the majority of fans already. Not his fault really, SR should not have given him the job in the first place.
  5. But if results continue in the same vein, then surely SR will have little choice but to act? There is no way, absolutely no way that Jones will ever getting us playing like Newcastle.
  6. The next two games are key. Brentford not an easy place to get a result, but he needs to get something. Wolves is a must win game. No excuses on that front. If he loses both, surely his position would become untenable.
  7. I'm guessing you aren't a regular at St Marys this season?!
  8. Got so bad second half, I gave up and listened to Solent instead
  9. Am just pissed as because we seem to have owners who are prepared to put some money in with transfers, we end up with a manager who is clueless. Seems the years with Gao have meant nothing if we go down now.
  10. Not sure am seeing much of an improvement. Gifted win against Palace in the cup, beat an Everton team actually worse than us. Few struggled wins against lower opposition. Beating City was just a one off. The atmosphere at St Mary's has been shit for a long time. The appointment of Jones has done nothing to bring the fan base together.
  11. How can you continually make up excuses for a guy who is clearly so limited and lacking in any form of tactical nous? Two subs made again last night at half time, constant "formation tweaks" during the first half. It's increasingly difficult to get behind the team when you are constantly watching the same shit repeat itself every game. How did you feel about Pellegrino? What was your breaking point with Wigley and Gray? Jones is in the same mould as those guys, no question.
  12. Scene of one of the worst displays under Ralph. Couldn't happen again, surely?
  13. Yep agree with that. Only thing I would say is that it's a shame their ambition stopped when they gave Jones the job.
  14. I saw an organised team who knew exactly what they were doing. They knew what our weak spots were and exploited them. Contrast that with our panic in possession, no composure style, no real game plan and constant changing it was always going to end up like that. Am no fan of Howe but he taught us a massive lesson last night.
  15. I'd give it a 10 if Jones had gone
  16. Every single game we are closer to relegation
  17. He looks seriously like a guy who is thinking what the fuck have I just agreed to do
  18. Yep. Limited. Talks a good game but has no clue in reality
  19. Just fuck the fuck off Jones. Better team second half? How many chances did we create? How many saves did Pope have to make? So close? To fuckin what exactly?
  20. Total wanker
  21. Agreed. Both shouldn't be starting.
  22. Don't understand the obsession Jones has with him. Even Ralph realised he was shit and only played him when he didn't have an alternative
  23. To be fair, he was no worse than Lyanco. I just don't get Jones obsession with him. Even Ralph realised he was a liability
  24. Deluded as fuck. How many actual saves did Pope have to make during the game. Actually, how many over the two legs? We created fuck all.
  25. Not difficult to see why he was such a disaster at Stoke
