If you look at it the other way, when he played yesterday he may have been under the impression that he was leaving.

They could in theory have a unhappy player on their hands if that was the case. I suppose if he was desperate to come here, he could go down the moody player route, we've had plenty of experience with that in the past.

If Blackmore is alluding that we will keep the money and move for him again in the winter window, that would be crazy. PSV have dicked us around on this, I wouldn't waste another minute on it.

I'd hoped we would have moved on as soon as their team was announced for the game they played yesterday. Obvious with him playing he wasn't going anywhere.

One of my favourite players from the last six or seven years. Absolutely agree with all the sentiments about him. My lad met him at a Totton game towards the end of last season, he was really happy to have photos taken and chat to him about football. In this day of egos in football, he really made time for the fans. Feels like the end of an era in my Saints supporting cycle.

He is probably the sort of player who would benefit from an extended run in the first team. Not really sure he has had that much of a consecutive run. He might get that if Oriel moves on, as we might need to rotate more with Lavia.

Pretty good going. I've been in Lee for about three years now and have not come across another Saints fan as yet. Can't even honestly say there is an abundance of the blue few either. Five minutes down the road in Gosport, it's a different matter though!
