  1. I think the fact that a top 6 club didn't come in for him during the summer, after arguably his best season, tells you all you need to know about JWP. I absolutely believe we would have cashed in had we received an offer.
  2. If the best we can do is Nathan Jones, should really just as well kept Ralph. Just be another in a long list of manager fuck ups this club has made.
  3. I've never felt so low as a Saints fan than how I feel today. Even through the Branfoot days we had the genius that was Le Tiss to watch, well when he was picked anyway. The club now is completely soulless, devoid of any direction and leadership off and on the pitch. We just go through the motions every game. The players don't give a fuck, even JWP is a complete non entity this season. We have a bunch of players playing in the Premier League , who at least two thirds of should be playing in the Championship. Our recruitment has been a disaster, SR were heralded as some sort of god like structure when they brought the club, and yet when presented with an opportunity to do something special in the summer, they brought a load of kids, who probably with the exception of Lavia, have struggled massively to adapt. The recruitment guru who oversaw this couldn't wait to fuck off. And to top it all off, we didn't even get the forward we needed that every one of us knew we needed. We then plod along with Ralph, who arguably should have gone in the summer too, yet we keep trying the same shit with him which doesn't work. Now when finally they have the balls to sack him, we turn to the Championship yet again. Not for players this time though, but for a manager. A manager of the smallest club in the Championship no less. You just couldn't make this shit up. Am totally fed up with this club from the top. Supporters aren't valued. Away fans are treated better than home fans. The board telling us that we should be grateful to be in the Premier League and that it doesn't matter where we finish just as long as we are still in the league. Even the ground looks shit these days. Nobody at the top cares about anything, even Semmens said he wished he was doing something else on his weekends. I love my club, but have hated what it has become.
  4. This is just so underwhelming and is typical of the club at the moment. Whilst Villa and Wolves bring in highly respected Spanish managers, we look to the smallest team in the Championship for a new manager. Pathetic doesn't even come close in my eyes. SR could have made a real statement of intent by getting in someone the players would respect and the fans get behind. Can only see this ending up with us going down now.
  5. Totally agreed. The change should have been made in the summer. I like Ralph, really wanted him to be a success, but for whatever reason he has totally lost his way.
  6. Be a huge gamble by the club though
  7. Think Blackmore mentioned that on Solent a few weeks back. Seemed pretty random then, maybe there is something in it
  8. Never thought I would say this, but maybe McCarthy comes back in now?
  9. Eight defeats in 14 this season. Pathetic
  10. Lavia and Bella Kotchap got mentioned for Belgium and Germany
  11. Think you can discount Wolves. Far too much quality to go down.
  12. Matters not. Where you finish in May is what counts.
  13. Border is definitely Stubbington
  14. That exactly my experiences too. I only got a fiver a week for my morning paper round. Rates must have been lower depending on where you lived! We always used to get at The Dell for bang one pm when they opened the turnstiles, so we could get down the front behind the goal at Milton Road. From what I remember it was £2 for us to get in. If I watch old TV clips from around 89/90 I can see myself and my mates clearly as we always took an inflatable banana with us. As you say great days
  15. I think generally they have been better run than us over the past few seasons.
  16. Be good to win this one. Wipe that smug arse look from Eddie Howe's face.
  17. i thought it was a stool for dwarfs
  18. Chris Packman, that runner Iwan someone
  19. Yep. Better him than that fraud Craig David who pretends to be a hardcore Saints fan
  20. How do you know he isn't going to get the sack this week? There has to be a breaking point when the club will act
  21. Could have done without that
  22. Glad I'm not the only one who isn't impressed with Lyanco
