  1. Think it's a bit too early to write him off just yet. If we are still talking about this next January, then it might be that he won't make it a Premier League level.
  2. I fully expect Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea to get ridiculously easy games until the quarter finals, when they come up against a team like us or Brighton. A home draw against any championship side will do for me.
  3. Agree the back three is the way to go for this one. I think Stephens can do a job at right back, but we would get nothing from a attacking perspective from him. Last thing I would want to see is JWP at right back.
  4. Valery totally ruined this game for us. He must have known that Oba is no finisher. Should have just let Forster deal with it
  5. No wonder Ralph prefers KWP to Perraud
  6. I'd rather we stick Stephens at right back to be honesty. Get JWP back in midfield
  7. Two of my most favourite players in recent times. Glad they are doing so well. If we brought Lyanco, I fail to see why we just didn't keep Yosh as a back up. Think he would have helped the development of Salisu more.
  8. I can absolutely see Henderson coming here in the summer window, although I think much would depend on De Gea if he stays at United. If he leaves, then possibly Henderson would be number 1 at Old Trafford. If he does become available we should be all over it, chance to really establish himself at a Premier League club, I would hope would maybe see him lower his wage expectations. Trouble is, I would say that he would be a target for a number of other clubs, probably including Newcastle.
  9. Bit of a piss take when they have fielded a second string eleven for all the previous rounds. Sniff of a cup and suddenly Klopp is all over it
  10. Ah! Trust the FA to make an exception!
  11. They allowed MK Dons
  12. Agree with that. I can't stand United but it does seem since Ferguson retired they have been searching for a new identity. Maybe they should have stuck with Moyes a bit longer.
  13. Surely only covid cases should be taken into account. Injuries are part and parcel of the game. Premier league squads are big enough to cope. Am sure Newcastle have only had a nominal amount of covid cases, which is what should be the only cause to have matches called off.
  14. Think Newcastle's next scheduled league game is against Watford. Should be interesting assuming they don't try and get it called off.
  15. Think it's more about their style of play and the way Sean Dyche never gives any credit to opposing teams when they beat Burnley. Also can't stand Ashley Barnes either, for me he just typifies them as a team.
  16. I think the only team I don't mind at the moment is Norwich. Crystal Palace are pretty non offensive too. Probably top five disliked for me would be Liverpool, Spurs, Man Utd, Brighton and Newcastle. Burnley just on the edge.
  17. Exactly. Aren't they also counting staff members in as well? Who gives a fuck if the data analyst can't watch the game at the ground.
  18. Will a club that gets relegated instead of Newcastle have a case against the Premier League? The cheque book power they have in the window should ensure that they stay up. If it doesn't then Howe is a worse manage then we all thought
  19. I cannot believe that they aren't able to field a team. It's utter bollocks.
  20. Cheating fuckin bastards. Nobody gave a shit last season when we were struggling to put out a competitive starting 11
  21. I think the biggest compliment I can give JWP is that I didn't even realise PEH was playing.
  22. We a know Ralph likes a record. Perhaps he is going all out for that record of goals conceded in the Premier League in a calender year. Only need three to beat it
  23. I know it's different set of circumstances but nobody gave a shit when we were reduced to naming under 23's in the first team and on the bench last year. Fed up with hearing about how the clubs aren't managing it when it was barely mentioned last year when we were struggling for fit players. It will be a real kick in the teeth for the other clubs in the bottom half if Newcastle are allowed to postpone any games this side of the transfer window. Gives them a huge advantage.
  24. Can't stand Brighton. Rather Brentford win.
  25. Getting fuckin boring now. Every fuckin game
