  1. Just worries me about replacements though. Am sure we would be an attractive proposition to some, but we probably missed a trick last season in not getting in Thomas Frank from Brentford. I know it was only one game, but last night they looked like all the things we aren't under Ralph.
  2. I kinda entered the season with a bit of optimism, but it's so frustrating to see the same mistakes keep on happening. I don't understand why Ralph is so slow to react to changes and refuses to make subs. I agree that he may not last the season, but with us struggling so badly financially, I wonder if it will be too late before we relieve him of his duties.
  3. I really wanted Ralph to be a success here, he's enthusiastic and probably cares for the club, but taken as a whole it's not just one game in isolation, it's been the best part of half a season. We were shite since January last year, there's no getting away from that, those problems still persist. He can't react to simple changes and doesn't make subs and when he does they are more out of desperation than anything else. Maybe he is the right guy and the wrong time for us.
  4. You have to be joking right?? This shit has been going on for the past six months. Knee jerk reaction to winning three games in twenty odd games?? Two 9-0 defeats in successive seasons?? No defence, no goalkeeper and no idea how to react tactically to the simplest of changes. I like Ralph but he is the definition of a one trick pony.
  5. Tactically outplayed yet again
  6. For still being the manager
  7. Another half time change by the opposition manager that Ralph didn't react too. He's got to be on borrowed time surely??
  8. Am sure Ralph will revert to his fuckin stupid policy of rotating the keepers every game
  9. And when they he does make changes, they are like for like
  10. Strongest bench we have had since fuck knows when, yet he still refuses to make subs.
  11. Fuck sake. In control for most of the first half, second half just another complete shit storm
  12. Anyone take 1-1 as the final score now??
  13. Need to get through the next ten minutes or so, hopefully we can whether the storm
  14. Better off waiting for the Second Coming
  15. Going to crumble under the pressure now
  16. Same old shit defending
  17. Hopefully keep it tight for the first 10/15 minutes of the second half. Have to expect Everton to come out full on.
  18. Fair enough. Everyone has differing opinions about a particular player. I don't routinely watch Spurs that much, everytime I have seen him he seems to be a steady performer. Doubt that he would be on our target list anyway.
  19. You'd rather have Bednerak and Salisu in ahead of him? I agree on the wages and fee front, but there is no way he wouldn't be getting a game here. Huge upgrade on both of those, even if Salisu is still a bit of an unknown quantity.
  20. For pure entertainment, got to be Neil Ruddock.
  21. Don't get why everyone is against Dier. He would be a massive upgrade on anything we have at the moment.
  22. I don't think from a PR perspective we can afford to let JWP go this summer. We have already lost one fan favourite in Ings, I don't think the club would risk the backlash if they allowed JWP to go too. Could possibly be a reason he signed such a long contract, sign the deal and in the second year, you can leave.
  23. I don't see a problem with Vestergaard leaving to be honest. Never was a huge fan of him, as others have pointed out he is much better suited to a back three as he proved in the Euro's. He just strikes me as too passive to be a centre half, despite his size he was beaten in the air far too often. Sometimes I wish we would get over this notion that centre backs should be ball playing defenders. Fact is they should be able to defend first and foremost, in whacking it into row z is the best option it needs to be taken. Would rather we sign no frills defenders like we have had in the past, players that would put there head's in where it hurt.
