Nope. Besides, we have already loaned one player from Chelsea.

After sitting through yesterday's game, I think the criticism shared on here is not unjust in the slightest. Yesterday was every bit as worse as we've seen under Jones and Selles when we were last here. I don't think it is negative to say we got beat by a bang average team who are likely to be bottom six come the end of the season. That for me is the biggest concern. RM talks about being brave and having a go this year, but there was nothing brave in that performance.

You need to take off your red and white tinted glasses once in a while. You berate any fans that aren't happy clappy and dare to criticise the club in anyway, you are exactly the fan that Semmens was on about when he said we should be grateful for just being in the Premier League. My opinion on who is a Championship player and who is not is totally revelant to a discussion on a football forum about the team I support, so you can take you thinly disguised Pompey jibes and shove them up your arse. If calling out bad tactics and bad in game management makes me a negative supporter then I can live with that. I was treated to enough inept displays in our last Premier League season, so I was expecting us to at least have a go against a bang average Forest team. We offered nothing, did you honestly believe once we conceded that we were going to score? That's not being negative, its being realistic on what we were seeing out on the pitch. As a fan, did you enjoy our last relegation season?

Agreed, but he was always going to be are number one target no matter what. I think he'll be fine, but he needs to play alongside players that are going to help him, rather than just recycle the ball backwards and forwards.
-
He was outstanding for us last season, at times yesterday he was doing two jobs as Smallbone was so ineffective.
-
I'll make this easy for you. Smallbone, Armstrong, Stephens, Aribo, Edozie and McCarthy are Championship players. End of. None of them are getting into any other Premier League team bar us. Jury is out on THB, BBD and Sugra. Even Downes to a lesser extent. KWP is truly the only player that teams competing at our level, which is bottom half would seriously look at. We are a Championship team playing Premier League.

So, why does he wait until Forest scored to shake things up? Aribo and Smallbone were truly awful yesterday. Smallbone looks terrified everytime he gets the ball. We had no drive in midfield at all, well not until Dibling came on and at least tried to run with the ball, instead of getting rid of it and the first opportunity.
-
But we weren't competitive yesterday against a bang average Forest team. We managed to stay in the game not because we were playing well, but because Forest were slightly less gash than we were.
-
I think it's a mix of all three.
-
Yesterday the subs were re-active rather than pro-active. Was almost a sense of blind panic with the subs after Forest scored.
-
I've heard some shit on here, but what the fuck? That squad could compete, if we had a manager who wasn't so tactically inflexiable and insisted on playing at a snails pace.
-
The only thing that enhances my matchday experience is the performance on the pitch. Couldn't give a shit about the fans zone bollocks.
-
Go strong or win?!
-
Think we need to go strong, try and get some confidence and get a win.
-
Second best to a very average Forest team. We are going to need to pick up points against these teams, yet we could have been out there all night and not troubled their keeper.
-
Suitable shit. As we knew, Smallbone and Armstrong struggling.
-
No way is Armstrong getting anywhere close to 12 goals this season.
-
Not if Ramsdale is a loan. I can see us going with what we have now up front, then panic buying in January.
-
Now that would be impressive if we found a buyer for him.
-
I guess we see football through different eyes as fans.
-
I get that, and I realise its a short career, but surely these guys want to play every week? You train every week, then it comes to Saturday, at best a sub or at worst watching from the stands. Maybe my viewpoint is too simplistic.
-
If these guys want to play football, they are going to have to drop their demands. The clubs that are interested in them are never going to be able to match those wages.

Only seen Kelleher play a few times in the cup matches, but he can't be all that if Baz manages to get in the Ireland side ahead of him!
