  1. It’s actually incredible that he cost 15 million pounds. it’s almost questionable for money laundering for man city.
  2. can’t say it’s not deserved. we must have lost the most out of any team last few years. losing 9-0 should be automatic relegation in itself. Delusion kept Ralph in when he clearly was no good and sacked him too late to appoint someone like Frank when we could have in the summer? Now we have to put up with a returning Bednarek and us begging to sign a striker like Chris Wood, who even then is unrealistic for us. ffs 🤣🤣

    i’ll take my chances
  4. perfect idea, no doubt this will get us the three points needed
  5. We need a midfield two of Lyanco and Stephens to once for all decide if they’d ever be good as defensive midfielders.
  6. it’s weird. some players are good one week them mediocre the next. the chuckle brothers of Bednarek and Stephens were part of some good defensive displays for us but my god were their ‘mediocre’ weeks dreadful. Still probably take someone leading like stephens over lyanco in defence (just about)
  7. thinking about it redmond would get in a nathan jones team
  8. Corrie could use this storyline
  9. still don’t know whether he can score against a premier league defence

id be interested to see what people who stopped drinking from an early age experience/stats are like in later life when compared to mild or big drinkers

Habituality is the killer problem in drinking culture. Even if you aren’t an addict in any sense or don’t like to drink, it’s in day to day life so much its hard to avoid. Go to the pub because your mates are all there, and everyone around you is drinking, it may be your turn to get the round in so might as well have a drink. Go to the football and it’s an instinct to get the beers in from people you go with.
  12. saints gave up closing them down after a while, then you could see Brighton late on cheering as they close down our defender for a throw in. simple margins that are down to effort by players.
  13. Find a goalkeeper. Sign a striker taller than 6ft. Bring back Tella to show AMN how to smile and increase team morale. Get a midfielder who actually puts in a shift and gives someone a good kicking. Introduce Lyanco to meditation so he can calm down. Someone tell Jones if he wants a back 5 stop picking the shitters. Spend big in January and start signing players right now like other clubs. Put more players in midfield as we get overrun every game and yet no f*cker ever changes it. Force Che Adams to watch videos of Danny Ings and maybe some Messi clips. Get Djenepo to play chess so he knows there is strategy involved in life/ getting past a player, you don’t just run straight into them. Buy Bazunu a new pair of gloves. Introduce Elyonoussi to painting so he become more creative. Give laxatives to Aribo and put the toilet on the other side of the training ground to make him put a shift in…
  14. 100% my option. Seeing saints win something would be brilliant
  15. With the opposition scoring 3 or more at St Marys is a big defeat. Just because we’ve lost by higher amounts frequently dosent mean conceding this many at home shouldn’t be considered big. Brighton and Newcastle perfect examples of what I expect atm even against Forest and away at Fulham.
  16. Forest haven’t scored away since August I believe and i’m still expecting a big defeat against them at St Marys as well. We just aren’t very good even put up against these promoted teams
  17. FFS 😂😂
  18. definitely not as he proceeded to play 5 at the back with adam armstrong up top against them
  19. He said in his Lincoln press conference he was almost finished watching and analysing every saints game from this season.
  20. With Ralph in charge it was obvious we would pick up results eventually (we always come good december/january) if we played 4,2,2,2 with the tactics we had played for 3 and a bit years. Sadly the tactic in full was seemingly ditched and even under ralph we changed to passing round the back then hoofing it up to Che this season. So he would never have saved us and would not “save the day”, unless of course it was with his previous tactic in use.
  21. I love how the fans still celebrate when we win a free kick in a good area despite him not scoring one for a while
  22. no there isn’t.
  23. sadly it’s not saints in corporate
  24. we are the mugs
