  1. Fuck; they could be in big trouble. Still fancy Everton to get out for some reason. Probably because they have decent players, despite the manager being crap.
  2. Ahhh I wondered what this years excuse would be. Last season they blamed injuries, this season they blame ££. Basically anything but the manager. Invest or lack of doesn’t seem to have impacted Brentford, who are basically playing with the same side they had in the championship last season.
  3. I suspect the selecting process was more about who would allow semmens and co to stay in a job.
  4. FWIW; I don’t disagree with this. They’re a fucking joke. However, it’s literally the manager and coaches job to improve these things.
  5. Probably what Newcastle fans were saying about the likes of Joelinton etc. Of course his replacement might not be a success, but that shouldn’t be a reason to not look elsewhere. Same mistakes as last season, it’s a worrying trend.
  6. Prowse isn’t carrying a knee injury though is he. The club were clearly concerned about it or they wouldn’t have moaned about him being picked to play for England… despite then playing him 3 days later.
  7. When have I ever said that? I haven’t, so literally your words… not mine.
  8. No. No one is saying that. Did him playing through an injury, week in week out increase the risk of Sunday.. yes.
  9. I said months ago they were running him into the ground. Specifically after they complained about him playing for England because of his knee’s and then proceeded to play him for 90 minutes 3 days later. Ive given reasons as to why I think the medical staff and Manager are partly to blame, as well as bad luck. It’s not about not being subtle, just giving my opinion and reasons behind that.
  10. Probably not, he’ll likely hold out for something bigger, which IMO I doubt will come.
  11. Rodgers is a bigger name than Ralph and arguably (definitely imo) a better manager. more potential as in an owner who’s willing to invest more in the squad and a squad who’s more likely to have a chance of Europe than us. They have the opportunity to compete and win a trophy. We don’t. Surely it’s not even a debate that Leicester are a more attractive club than us at the minute. FWIW, I’d also say West Ham, Villa and wolves are also a more attractive option than us.
  12. Better manager, more money, more potential…. I’d jump at the chance to go there if I was him.
  13. Poch took over us after he was sacked for being bottom of the league with Espanyol. He’s about to get the boot from PSG as well. He’s Never won anything of note and somehow managed to come second in a 1 horse race in France… and that ignoring the league they threw away at tottenham. Assume you’d group him as a competent manager as well.
  14. Only if those players signed are young, hungry and therefore guaranteed to improve. Or Chris Wood.
  15. It’s not though. Injuries cause over compensation which increase the risk of an injury to the other leg. I do agree it’s bad luck, but running the kid into the ground with a known injury would not have helped.
  16. I’ll be amazed if he comes back the same player. His game is built on pace and explosiveness, 8 months out with a really serious injury I’ll no doubt impact that, as it did Jay-Rod. Fingers crossed for the lad.
  17. It’s pretty common knowledge that if you suffer an injury to 1 leg, it increases the risk of an injury to the other due to over compensation and all that. If I know that, I’d like to think medical professionals and a football manager would as well. Which I suspect they did, given they were annoyed about him playing for England U-21’s (and then played him like 3 days later lol).
  18. Yep, spot on. Very poor management by Ralph and the medical Staff. The lad has been ran into the ground.
  19. he’s obviously a bitter man and on a huge wind up, but In fairness, he’s not wrong here. Leicester and Newcastle would be a step up from us. If he wants to cement himself as an England regular, he does need to be competing at the top level (I.e in Europe) and we have been on a downward spiral since koeman.
  20. More than likely out of reach by then if their improvement trend continues at this rate.
  21. We missed the boat not getting Eddie Howe when we had the chance.

    Welcome

Welcome, Henri. Just a couple of questions to understand your place on the forum. First question, what is your knowledge of xG. Second, have you ever lived in Glasgow or Kenya?
  24. Only probably Tarkowski himself.
  25. What a load of bollox…. From the person who didn’t obviously read the post. As I said, after his initial bounce when he came in (I.e we improved on Hughes, but haven’t since then).
