  1. I think it'll probably be before as the last few have gone on over 4 weeks before. Even if not I doubt the oxford game will matter as anyone who qualifies for that will qualify for the skates regardless.
  2. I think it might start a bit lower than 12. Recently games have been going on sale just over 4 weeks before the match. If they continue that then Norwich will likely be the last away before going on sale which will make the maximum anybody can be on is 14 (assuming points reset happens for January games as normal) Obviously we know from allocations that there can't be anywhere near 2700 people on 14 games, never mind the fact there'll be plenty who've only done a handful at each away. As someone else said there's only been 4 games with a larger allocation so I don't think the amount of people on 11-13 will be that high either. I reckon it'll start on 9/10 and go down to about 6. Even if they go on sale later then it won't make much difference as Oxford will all be people right near the top anyway and Brum is a smaller allocation.
  3. I sit in the chapel and agree you can barely hear the northam from there most of the time but did hear the GON chant on more than one occasion.
  4. Are you sure mate? I was certain they'd sell out the full away end, normally do I think? They definitely took full allocation and I'd be shocked if more than 1000 went unsold.
  5. No way Preston had 2k there, probably half that so Wednesday will be filling 2k seats that were empty last week. Don't think there'll be much difference in home numbers.
  6. Has he also declared himself a fan of those other clubs?
  7. GON can fuck right off the filthy skate cunt. Can't believe people would be happy for one of them to manage us in an away derby.
  8. Anyone able to help out with a ticket for either Charlton or Millwall? I've got one for each but have a pal who wants to come along.
  9. Ummmmm yeah that was the point. Typically dull and unimaginative shite from our fanbase.
  10. Either that or we could just shout 'Leo' and reuse the Fernandes song word for word. This also seems far too complex for our fans. How about seven nation army?
  11. Didn't he get double figures in the PL? Don't think we've had a striker do that since Ings.
  12. I think the whole day for the first window is right myself but they really messed the start point up. Surely the first sale should just be a simple equation of working out the highest number of games which would account for the entire allocation, so those at the top have a guaranteed option to go if they want to? In theory you could have had someone who went to every game last season miss out to someone on 10 today.
  13. Website says we've got full allocation so maybe they don't give lower anymore?
  14. Members can buy Blackburn today. For all the talk early season about how unfair the priority system is tickets have been pretty easy to get so far this season. Suspect there'll be moaning though for the next 3 being London games.
  15. I'm surprised the club don't yet ask for attendance information from the home club yet. Easy enough for them to see which ticket was scanned at most grounds. I know Brighton do exactly this for their away games and remove the credit of those not scanned in.
  16. Think QPR will also go very quickly as even though it's midweek it's the third smallest allocation in the league.
  17. What? You mean it's not a closed shop like many people said it was? There's a shocker. Suspect we'll start hearing it again when November comes around with the 3 london games.
  18. Depends on the ground. Less of an issue at older stadiums than flat packs like ours. Can always hear the Holte end at Villa Park for example.
  19. I've never been able to get my head around why people make the second point. Who honestly gives a shit what can be seen on TV? I honestly can't think of anything more irrelevant. On point one, yeah there would definitely be occasions where the away crowd would drown out our support, but if we were on it then we could also drown out even a noisy away end as the sound could come from both sides. That will never happen with the new layout. Ever. Because the away fans can't hear the northam and will never have noisy fans on the kingsland side. What we'll basically always get now is away fans going "they barely ever sing in their main end behind the goal" and fans the northam going "the away support were shit, barely heard them all game" and in most cases neither things being true.
  20. Yeah this is a massive issue. You simply can't hear the northam from the other end of the ground (and similarly can't hear the away fans from the northam). So this move of away fans to apparently 'improve the atmosphere' (anyone sane knows that wasn't the real reason) has in actuality made it far worse. Agreed yesterday there were a few times you could see the northam singing in unison but on the whole it still looks like multiple pockets rather than one big end. Which is how it felt being in there last season.
  21. Nah the club won't be turning that income down given they'll be there from about 10.
  22. Has to be a win today. Anything else is unfathomable. Be nice if most people could be in seats by quarter to. They'll be in the ground getting tanked up for a good couple of hours and we need some atmosphere building before the teams come out. Also worth remembering that they can't go home until we all leave so if we win well it'd be fun to stay in the ground celebrating for as long as we can.
  23. Swansea Cardiff has it still. NE had it for the recent cup game with the bigger allocation but haven't for years with league games. They sacked it off for East Lancs last season too.
  24. Yeah even without the bubble fans will still be segregated as you say so not sure why you keep talking about fans 'mixing' as they don't regardless of whether the bubble is in place or not. Yeah people went to jail for 2010 but that doesn't mean there was large disturbances akin to the 70s/80s. Football fans often get prison sentences for things which wouldn't get one in a different environment. I don't want to mix with the skates at these games. But when going away I would like to be able to make my own way there and not have the whole day take as long as if I was going to an away day in Brum.
  25. I'd be disappointed if Fellows doesn't start. No reason at all that he can't come straight into the team.
