  1. Our approach will be to pretend we aren’t in one because we aren’t physically in the relegation zone. Point is, if you’re 18th on the last day you are down regardless of what’s gone before. Les has to do something but we all know he won’t so just strap in and pray for other teams to keep us up.
  2. Seeing Pellegrino smirking on the sidelines as we turn in yet another limp performance makes my blood boil. I wasn’t a fan of Puel but I absolutely detest Pellegrino. Really not enjoying watching at the moment, tepid, uninspiring crap from an incompetent but seemingly quite arrogant manager.
  3. Worst possible result. Austin out and we will keep this utter turd of a manager.
  4. That’s Austin done. Oh dear. Relegation here we come.
  5. Pell just standing there like the clueless buffoon he is. Shows what a good manager can do for a team - 2 changes and bang they are back in it.
  6. That’s just a bare faced lie. He wasn’t picked against Chelsea and why not even in the squad? Watching MP squirm in these interviews just makes us look so amateur.
  7. So you’re happy with that selection? Ok then.
  8. I was no fan of Puel but he looks like Mourinho compared to Pellegrino. Reminds me of Burley when he lost the plot, endless changes and players out of position. For a man that was praised so widely for his diligence when we appointed him (Balague) there is absolutely no logic in these decisions or selections. You just can’t predict who is going to play. His treatment of Hojberg (who has been our best player when he has played) is absolutely baffling as is his constant selection of Tadic. Can only assume he thinks a “rotation” selection will be good enough and that our best team might get something against Spurs. The reality is this team is not necessarily good enough to beat Hudds and we’ll lose to Spurs no matter who we pick. Just risking points really.
  9. Completely agree but surely a loss against a team so poor away from home will be the straw that breaks the camels back? You never know with bumbling Les though - he won’t want to admit he’s made another dud appointment.
  10. If we lose today then hopefully he is gone. A draw the worst result here as it’ll prolong the slow death under this idiot manager.
  11. Probably saving them for Spurs away, a game we will lose anyway. Definitely lost it.
  12. Bonkers selection yet again. No Hoj and Romeu makes no sense at all.
  13. If reports are to be believed he wouldn't even speak to West Ham so I'd put his chances of going to Swansea pretty low.
  14. Can understand that but would have been better to guarantee an upgrade on CP before pulling the trigger so that we weren’t left feeding on scraps and appointing the only half decent (so it looked at the time), unemployed manager on the market. Time invested in Tuchel or not, the way we went about replacing Puel in the summer appears to have been a complete c*ck up.
  15. Zero chance of that, we waited weeks to sack Puel without a replacement.
  16. Similar situation with Bilic and WHU apparently...
  17. Agreed - if and when they appoint Pulis they'll still have a good chance of surviving which removes one of the "dead certs for relegation". We need shot of Pell ASAP.
  18. It certainly is for Palace, Everton and (to a lesser degree) West Ham.
  19. Genuinely can't imagine one of our current team doing that (maybe Austin or Stephens at a push). Bristol City showed last night what hard work and togetherness can produce - unfortunately our "stars" have neither worked hard nor been together in the dressing room for the best part of two seasons now. We remind me of Villa on their decline - had been very good and pushed the top 6/4 to the envy of the rest of the league before a steady decline in quality did for them. We aren't quite at their level yet but well on the way.
  20. If we end up having to sack MP this season I hope it happens sooner rather than later!
  21. Exactly - at best he had potential. Him scoring against us at Carrow Road and then that screamer in the Toulon tournament for the U21s probably convinced Les. The best game he's ever had for us was against Liverpool at Anfield in the semi final - was a real threat when he actually ran at players. Unfortunately, he never really does that anymore and doesn't have the footballing brain or close control/passing to play a more cultured game (in the way that someone like AOC can even given his usefulness as a speed merchant).
  22. Exactly, I feared a narrow defeat before the game and that’s what we’ve done. A loss still equals 0. We need rid of this utter utter clown.
  23. Agreed, has to go but dimwitted Reed will wait until we are bottom to do anything.
  24. Pell has to go. Quite simply we will be relegated under this clueless buffoon.
  25. Typical. Narrow defeat which buys Pell needless kudos. We are going down with this clown.
