    Pellegrino OUT

But he’s Argentinian and his initials are M and P - that must have been enough for Big Les - I genuinely can’t see any reason for him getting the job other than the hope he was another Poch. Have to wonder whether De Boer was our top choice but binned us in favour of Palace. If we got rid of MP, wouldn’t be surprised if he was heavily linked.

Completely agree - MP is the Argentinian Steve Wigley. We’ll get rid eventually but when we do it’ll be far far too late.
  3. He would be a fantastic appointment given our current predicament - pretty sad to say that given I wouldn't have touched him a few years ago.
  4. Absolutely this. It could easily be Black as caretaker (certain relegation) or some other cheap, unemployed gamble from the Continent. We need someone with the experience to get us out of this mess.
  5. God no - we need someone who will keep us up. If MP goes (and big if given Big Les won't sack him) we need a safe pair of hands not another gamble.

Les is to blame for this current mess, that's for sure. ****ed away our strongest ever position two seasons ago by believing his own hype and trying to do things in a way which was too clever. He's got a lot to answer for.
  7. It was just the manner in which we set up for me - no adventure or shots on target yet we still picked a team that was at least notionally attacking (Redmond, Boufal and Tadic) - we were always on a hiding to nothing, never going to score enough to get anything (as we can't score) but we didn't set up defensively enough for a point. I'd love to know what he thought/hoped would happen after picking that team because personally I couldn't see anything more than the hiding we dutifully received. At least we've put the theory that MP might get us a few good results against the big teams to bed. He's as incompetent against those teams as he is against the ones we should be beating. I haven't disliked a manager as much as Pellegrino since Burley and we've had some serious sh*t in that time.
  8. I mean what is he watching? I watched the stream and it was a completely turgid, inept performance. I suppose he has to say this to try and save himself but my God he's out of his depth here. Do the right thing Les, please.

Big Les will not sack him, as Pamplemousse says, he hasn't got the balls. I fear we are in serious trouble this year.
  10. Out out out. Going down if he stays. Totally clueless.
  11. We’d better hope you’re wrong as we will be down if he doesn’t sack him. Won’t help that Pulis will be gone next week which will undoubtedly improve WBA. Fat Les will probably wait until we are bottom to sack our clown.
  12. No they aren’t - Puel wasn’t the right man for us just because we’ve managed to appoint a significantly inferior manager doesn’t make wanting a poor manager sacked look “silly”.
  13. Clueless manager - what do you expect?
  14. Complete non-performance from us. Pelleclown will probably claim we deserved a point or give some other alternate reality assessment of the humping we’ve received.
  15. Got to get Pell out.
  16. Depressing isn’t it? Not surprising as we’ve got a clown for a manager. McQueen not even in the squad either so no option of changing Tadic or Redmond.
  17. Well we are not going to score, that’s for sure. What is that team selection?! The constant swapping of Yosh and Hoedt is also seriously odd.

    Alex McCarthy

Agreed. If you watch his footwork for the goal its just awful. Good header yes, but not unsaveable for a half decent keeper.
  19. To be clear, I said 7 months not 13 years...
  20. I’m assuming this is sarcasm but I can assure you it’s true. Fact is, we haven’t scored in almost 70 per cent. of our home games in the last 7 months and he’s been unlucky to miss the 4 where we’ve managed to find the net.
  21. One of my friends has a season ticket but hasn't seen us score for 7 months. In the last 13 home games, we've scored in 4 of them. He's only seen those where we've drawn blanks at a cost of over £500 on tickets and train fares.
  22. The fact we have the fifth most expensive season ticket in the league is ridiculous enough as it is - let alone the fact that we are, statistically, the worst value for money in the league given our goalscoring woes. Les and team should look at that and be embarrassed but, as others have said, whilst the fans keep coming nothing will happen.

If he genuinely thinks that we need a change.

    Pellegrino OUT

How do you know? We haven’t had a game since he posted it. He said he was on thin ice and had to change his style, not that he was about to be imminently sacked. No wonder nobody with any sort of insider knowledge wants to post it - they are called out every time it’s perceived as incorrect (even where it’s been misunderstood).
  25. Pellegrino’s quality as a manager has absolutely nothing to do with Puel. No, you’re right he won’t take Leicester down but he didn’t take us down either - the fact that Puel (who I really didn’t think was the right fit for us) did considerably better with a weaker squad than Pellegrino has just shows how bad our current incumbent is.
