Funnily enough he's got to the rank he's at which is higher than yours matey! But I expect you think he's a jumped up muppet because he's an officer! Ergo believe TDD on the navy rather than anyone else!

So you think that the Rock won't drop its rates despite being owned by the state?
-
My best friend is a Lt Cmdr and he reckons that the women ratings are twice as efficient as the blokes generally. Put that in your misogynist pipe and share it with your ship mates.

Why would anyone not on benefits or from Pompey be watching telly at 9.30am?

All managers make youth decisions, based on talent and attitude. Most will be good calls and some will be bad. The nature of an academy is that they have to be weeded out. That's why Hoddle is offering his academy places to youngsters that have been released by clubs such as Liverpool at the age of 17. WGS made his decision on Scott McDonald based on the attitude of the guy then as well as knowing what else was in the locker. If worse attitude kids like Nile Ranger (now at Newcastle) somehow turn a new leaf, will that be the fault of SFC for letting him go when he was clearly a bad news guy for other young good players with potential to be mixing with?

We all know that Twitchy lost his real sense of smell following his car accident but it seems to have given him an extra sense recently about getting out while the going is good. Obviously he hadn't quite honed that substitute sense exactly when he joined Saints, despite his recent comments that he knew Saints were on the slide when he joined them and therefore couldn't stop relegation!!! What a c**t the man is (Pompey fans are welcome to agree with this non-partisan statement with no come back).

If anyone is that bothered about a particular issue I suggest they stand as a candidate in an election rather than moan on here. Be an independent or use Lab/Con/LD as a vehicle for your views. Otherwise quit moaning.

What an absolute fool George is. Can I suggest that you run for the hills right now with your provisions to establish an anti-government enclave complete with M-16s, ammunition and hare traps George? America voted overwhelmingly, at presidential, senate and house of reps level! Funnily enough, I agree with checks and balances that St George mentions elsewhere but the Reps gave themselves no chance of getting those things anyway. I don't agree with all Obama says but to see the difference between Obama at his victory speech and Bush's passover speech illustrates quite clearly the difference between the two in terms of passion, belief and ability. PS. I do feel sympathy for McCain, he's a decent guy who snuck through the Rep primaries because of division within his right wing opponents and I'm sure he can make a contribution still. Palin however was a suicidal move designed to appeal to the Rep base such as St George and with no chance of reaching out to the floating vote. What twits!

CORGI is one of the biggest cons there is. Private sector cartel in effect monitored by private sector watchdog.

I was under the impression with a Gatso cam that the roadmarkings were merely an added corrolary to an already acceptable 2 cam shot at a very short fixed interval.

Pompey chief executive Peter Storrie says talk about finances is boring as it is reported that Gaydamak cannot unload the club. While the club is available for £40m it has debts of at least £50m, a top heavy wage bill and a standstill in plans for a new stadium. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/nov/02/premierleague-portsmouth1 Tee hee!

Absolute pants.

I was taught to leave enough space so that you can see the back wheels of the car in front. But I agree with Pancake, I leave a **** load more on the motorway if I join a jam and there's high speed traffic behind me. And get my hazards going too! Too many tools out there.

Usual suspects keen to say he's no good before we know anything... Let's wait and see.

Bloody hell, you could buy the club outright for about £5m at those levels. £8m debt and so for £13m SFC can be yours with just the usual stadium mortgage to continue paying!

If Wilde is willing to sell it is clear that his shares could form the springboard for somebody rich enough to buy them up and then go over the 30% mark thus being able to force a full takeover. It seems the only way to resolve the situation but who is rich enough to buy the Wilde shares at an inflated price, hoover up the remaining 70% and take on the current debt of £8m overdraft and whatever is outstanding on the stadium?
