  1. Agree with the sentiment above. Edozie was out injured in early January having been a key part of our run of form. He and Fraser were pretty much sharing duties down the left wing. Contribution wise there's not much between the two of them. Don't see how Sulemana jumped back in ahead of them. Thought losing Aribo was also a big miss. He's really deserved more minutes this season. Offers more ability in tight spaces than Smallbone. Still boggled why we brought Rothwell in on loan and to a lesser extent Brooks as Armstrong has been out wide right. As for fucking with the THB and Bednarek partnership... That's mental.
  2. All that failures is not failz?
  3. I felt he should've stopped at least 2 of the goals yesterday. His lateral movement seems more like he drops to the ground and sticks out a hand rather than dives sideways. It's rare he stops anything not hit directly at him. Contrast that with the ground the Ipswich keeper made up to stop Bednarek's flicked header. Throw in the two shocking handling errors on Friday and it ain't pretty. We dropped 2 points on Friday because strikers. We dropped 3 last night because keeper.
  4. It's Man Utd who are an omnishambles. For me the only surprise is they've waited so long. Chelsea already jumped in to steal our success with the fella that preceded Wilcox too.
  5. Don't forget our only defensive midfielder too. We'll be able to field a whole team of brave attacking talent. And no striker.
  6. Our subs seem to be more about rotating our attackers than any meaningful change.
  7. You could also argue they started going right when Sulemana and Stephens got injured too.
  8. It's options in places we were already ok that's the problem. Rothwell is no Stu or Aribo. We had Edozie and Fraser tearing up the wing. What we didn't have was cover for Downes or a striker (and arguably a keeper). Just recruiting more attacking midfielders is a bit Man Utd...
  9. There isn't a cow's arse in all of Suffolk that won't have felt the touch of Che's banjo before this day is done. Mark my words
  10. I see us turning formations on their head and playing a 5-4-1 today. 5 players on the left, 4 in the middle and 1 on the right. Why be inverted when you can be rotated inverted?
  11. It's not even so much that we're leaving wide spaces free either. Can remember a few times in recent games where we've followed the ball across and left space through the middle too. It's not even like we need our full backs so far forward either. In Brooks, Fraser and Edozie we've got wide players that are going to trouble any defence in this division.
  12. He made one incredible tackle tracking back. I also remember a big ol' swing and miss at the start of the game. It doesn't matter though. THB and Bednarek have to be first choice partnership. Failing that THB + 1 other.
  13. It's all set up for a classic day of Saints table watching. The day starts with hope as Leicester get turned over by Norwich. In the build up we see the opportunity then start brightly taking an early lead. Trousers posts the table. Then one of our full backs goes missing and Ipswich sneak it. Followed by Leeds rubbing salt in the wounds later. Textbook.
  14. He's a professional footballer. He should have a point to prove every game.
  15. Having rewatched the highlights from yesterday I don't want to watch Adams flailing around with a banjo any more and I'd like one of our wingers playing instead of Sulemana.
  16. I don't get why he persists with Sulemana. There are 3 wingers that are more effective at the club (possibly 4 depending on where you stand on Sam A-A). It's like he's 2/3 or a really excellent footballer. Right up to the point where he has to do something with the ball.
  17. We can still do this. COYR
  18. Jesus fucking Christ, Baz
  19. Mara's gone a bit Carlos Valderrama and I'm here for it.
  20. Well done, Jack
  21. Boro are racking up the yellows here
  22. Adams shows his full range in the last few minutes. Doesn't get back on side. Takes too long then slashes wide from an open goal.
  23. Warning signs are there
