So basically what some (including myself) were speculating about previously, having bad apples and major negative influences around the squad. This was around the time of the Nixon post and subsequent sacking of Still. If the rumours are still persisting, there was obviously something to it initially. It's fucking disgraceful if it is the case. You can see that the effort on the pitch from those players isn't there, but for it to come out in the media like they've got some knobhead jolly club going on, and that dictates how things are running at squad level is abhorrent.

It's like having the choice between stepping in dog shit, and stepping in cow shit.
-
Not the players, evidently.

Would really love to see us go back to a 4231. Bragg/Jander as the Schneiderlin type playmaker. Downes/Ori as the Wanyama Ball-winner. Cbs that don't prick around too much. Full backs that get forward and hold the width. Wingers that tuck in and help in the box. Wasn't so long ago that we looked decent week in week out playing like that.

Alright, enough is enough. Bazunu cannot seriously be this shit by accident. Definitely some betting/Grobbelaar type bullshit going on.
-
Manning, scared of crosses.
-
Welington off, but Dracula stays on? 🙄🙄🙄
-
Makes you wonder what they're doing in training all week, defending wise. How many have we conceded from crosses? Same old fucking story.
-
Seriously need to fix the defense if we're aiming for promotion. We'll get absolutely shagged next season with this setup
-
He's been doing it since he arrived. Did it plenty under Martin. I can't imagine any manager would tell a defender to stand off and invite crosses time and time again.
-
Nevermind the Turkish league betting scandal, Manning must have money on Birmingham goals, what the actual fuck is this cunt doing?!
-
Probably the same people that clap the team off after utter dog shit performances.
-
Matsuki and Welington must be absolutely dogshit in training if they can't get ahead of Aribo and Manning. Joe must only be on the pitch to get eyes on him for January. Manning must have pictures of someone on the board. Has he ever stopped a cross, or made any defensive contributions?
-
I see Manning, Jack and Hollywood-Bellis have assigned themselves on keepball duty. Too many safe passes back to Baz. Midfield haven't been there, and Azaz seems to be having one of his off days. Hopefully some efficient German fucks will be thrown into them at half time.

Sorry Mr Rasmus 😞
-
Pretty poor on the players if that's the case. Plenty of examples of good players not making good managers.
-
Time to dust this one off?

They also claimed OGS was imminent 3 days ago too, bullshit merchants. https://www.facebook.com/share/17Kg6EC7zD/

Seems a bit of a stretch, with Trollope all but gone, that leaves the coaching staff very bare bones after getting rid of 3 or 4 with Still. I can't see them leaving it to Eckert with just Lallana on the staff? And it would be very tinpot of them to just promote his previous staff from the 21s. I'd imagine they've got someone lined up bringing their own coaching staff. (Hopefully)

At this rate, with the candidates on offer, I'd give it to Mowbray until the end of the season. Steady the ship, instill some fight and a better overall mentality. Get us to a level where we're less of a basket case, and then look to get somebody else in. The manager landscape might look better then too.
-
Even with his managerial success, I reckon the players would consider themselves 'above' that.
-
I took it more as the squad of players available to pick, rather than him picking the same 11
-
Have we got a list of managers we interviewed before Will? We went back in for Jones after turning us down in the summer. We went back in for Juric too if memory serves?
-
I didn't say the new players had bad attitudes. It's been claimed on the whole, the squad are a quiet lot. We've brought in a fair amount of younger players that haven't necessarily developed a voice yet. There's a good chance they're hearing negativity from the more vocal senior players, and it's permeating through the squad. As others have said, we don't have any leaders. Players that have been Captain, and at the club the longest (Stephens, Armstrong, McCarthy) I can't see being the ones to command respect, dish out bollockings and show leadership when needed.
