Bookies odds are governed by what bets they receive. It's a big pool of money and alot of mathematics. It's a bit like a fruit machine Martin obviously had bets on him placed early, so his odds will always remain low. Some late bets have gone on O'Neil, which is vaguely interesting because they said on Sky yesterday they were interviewing managers. But the way the odds have move, it's not a vast pool of money and it isn't big bets on O'Neil
-
The bets are going on Gary O Neil. Eckert has shortened as well. I wonder if it's between these two
-
I thought it was very messy, but the players put alot of effort in, which I think got them over the line It has to be two at the back, and Azaz and Fellows need to play in their best positions. What's the point of buying them otherwise. Put the players in the best positions, face forward and move the ball forward faster and the rest should slot into place
-
If you manage a bunch of players, you use those players The teams under 21 are doing OK. I just don't see Romeu coming if Eckert is managing, unless it's some 1980s odd couple voodoo
-
Is a 32 year old who manages kids going to manage Romeu
-
He leaned on other people alot, especially latterly, but there's always a team around you Listen, I'm not saying he's getting hired. The Romeu signing, if it happens, is odd. Great, but odd. I might be reading everything wrong.

I put a bet on. Just have a funny feeling. The only way to de-Russ, is to re-Ralph I just think any younger manager is going to struggle. Obviously you've got other older experienced managers. It needs a dad figure
-
I think those stories came about because Romeu visited the team on a training camp in Girona. But, there's maybe nothing in it, as u say. It's interesting though
-
Or they could be wooing Ralph. You don't just randomly sign Romeu at 34. Look at the signings

I've got a theory It was reported that some players complained about Still, who has now departed. It'll be the Martin players Martin himself, he has a bruised reputation after Rangers so needs somewhere to repair his reputation I think, those players and Martin are in communication, Martin is happy to come back, and one or more of those players has put this out there in one way or another in the hope that he returns, a leaked story to the press or so. And on the basis of that, he is favourite because of the press coverage I think, for me, Martin ultimately failed in the top league, so what would be the point of him returning. And, players shouldn't be influencing anything. So, as an owner, Martin should be a no go and this should be a non story

Romeu and Ralph are buddies 👍
-
If Romeu is signing, it surely means Ralph is back

I genuinely believe Downs is better than he has shown. If you think about it, Azaz was good at Middlesbrough but he has looked rubbish too I'm hoping a new manager will bring the best out of the new players I'm shocked at how bad we have been this season. It's crazy
-
Still mentioned multiple times that it was hard to remove Martin's way of playing out of the players, so surely it would be daft to rehire Martin. He's caused alot of damage at Rangers too, and his way of playing isn't the way teams play now. Plus Still mentioned the players weren't very fit when he joined So, for me, it's just anyone apart from Martin who either needs to change or give up managing
-
If you read his scouting reports, he is regarded quite highly and has alot of assets. I think he just needs time to adapt. He has only played the equivalent of 2 full games so far in minutes this season
-
I think just take the money, it's a good price Part of me thinks he looked better than he was because the rest of the team set a low standard. And, any slightly creative player will stand out in the team. I think he'll be easily replaceable, and chances are, his heart wasn't in it this season anyway

Ozzy was a legend. Single handedly, he's probably the biggest influence on rock music, the entire genre, since the inception of Black Sabbath
-
It's Archer, to replace Vardy. I'm not sure if there is anything to it though and would he want to move Again, it's one of them, like the overseas fellow who wants to invest. Southampton was suggested to him as a possibility, then it was reported that we have a potential investor. It's people creating their own news lol
-
He might stay. The recent words we're taken out of context. Let the summer play out. There is alot of work to be done, there is alot to clear out, it's all gone daft since Russ left. Next season is what it is. If we return to the Premier League, it might go daft again hence my question from a few weeks back. If all fails, the owners will probably sell. That is it and all. Next year is key, money is not an issue. It's Hollywood or bust hereonin. We are looking for fast and fit and flexible. The new chap is brainy Season tickets are a must, from the other thread

p.s. Rohl isn't about money completely, it's a time thing, sooner than later. Just reading the bbc story
-
We've got Still, and Saints are flying. And we're oozing control..... Based on the Grease theme
-
If it didn't mean burning through managers and buying better players Not so much next year though

There is a reason I ask. There is an idea afoot, popularist in essence, which involves the above. As per previous posts, nothing ever happens that is said. But interesting to gauge opinion. No idea if they read here or not
-
Would folk be up to the idea, if we return to the Premier League, to break the rules on spending and go for the 10 point deduction
-
Hi, there was a foreign, either interview or presentation, and they were talking about the downturn in the world economy, or something like that, and there were references made to Southampton, and it stemmed from there. It might be on Google, I don't know. It doesn't matter, and if you don't believe me, it doesn't matter. All clubs are technically for sale at all times so it's irrelevant anyway
