  1. I think the way Birmingham have set up we should get more joy down the wings. I'm going for a 3-1 victory
  2. Pen. and goal 😃
  3. It's a good test for Eckert if nothing else. We're gonna get different types of teams
  4. Worth a punt at 6-8 million. Just an idea anyway
  5. Yeah, well this guy scores with both feet, he's good in the air. Can dribble, he's strong, has Moroccan heritage. Good xg, so he's putting himself in the right areas. Then he's exceeding his xg by scoring. He's already stepped up from the fourth to the second division in Germany successfully. So he looks a good prospect.
  6. I think they'll look to Germany. Younes Ebnoutalib looks a good prospect, I think he's being scouted by a few teams. He's scored 10 goals already, and he's tall, fast and shouldn't cost too much
  7. It was said that it'd be three games, then they would hire. So I'm guessing it'll be after today's match
  8. I don't know. I think we'll be fine because Eckert seems good at going through the game plan before the match starts, which is why we're doing well in the first half. That's what I got from the post match interviews this week. I've not watched Millwall so I don't know how they play
  9. It's a shame. I was rooting for the guy, he scored some good goals for Koln and he's looks good with his feet. But he's constantly looked off the pace. Similar to how Van Dijk is at Liverpool just now. His hearts not in it. I think ship him off on loan and get another loan to buy striker in in January
  10. I lived near there a generation ago, and there were very few Millwall supporters and alot of city workers. Same for Deptford, Surrey Quays and Rotherhithe.
  11. Amazing first half We're 3 points off fourth, and 6 points off second as it stands 👍
  12. I think what others have said, some subtle tweaks, playing to feet rather than in the air, playing to the strengths of how players play. Playing forward quickly. And I also thought they controlled it not too bad in the second half. There were a few other things I spotted as well. It was quietly impressive
  13. Wow, wasn't expecting that I wonder if having a settled team has helped
  14. I don't think it'll be Eckert, it's too risky. I think the victory today, plus the chants, just all means that O Neil was possibly being considered, but they we're testing the waters with the crowd. It's obviously a no go As previously suggested, I think Eckert have given Southampton time to think about their next move and not rush into anything. He's said himself, he's just an interim manager. I think it'll be someone else, and it'll not be a quick appointment. Just a guess
  15. It needs to be two at the back. Hopefully whoever is manager changes it
  16. He is flexible, I've read. He's played 6 or 7 systems over the years. It's counter attacking football though
  17. 8/11 now And it's enough to push Martins odd out, so it's fair money being put on
  18. Bookies odds are governed by what bets they receive. It's a big pool of money and alot of mathematics. It's a bit like a fruit machine Martin obviously had bets on him placed early, so his odds will always remain low. Some late bets have gone on O'Neil, which is vaguely interesting because they said on Sky yesterday they were interviewing managers. But the way the odds have move, it's not a vast pool of money and it isn't big bets on O'Neil
  19. The bets are going on Gary O Neil. Eckert has shortened as well. I wonder if it's between these two
  20. I thought it was very messy, but the players put alot of effort in, which I think got them over the line It has to be two at the back, and Azaz and Fellows need to play in their best positions. What's the point of buying them otherwise. Put the players in the best positions, face forward and move the ball forward faster and the rest should slot into place
  21. If you manage a bunch of players, you use those players The teams under 21 are doing OK. I just don't see Romeu coming if Eckert is managing, unless it's some 1980s odd couple voodoo
  22. Is a 32 year old who manages kids going to manage Romeu
  23. He leaned on other people alot, especially latterly, but there's always a team around you Listen, I'm not saying he's getting hired. The Romeu signing, if it happens, is odd. Great, but odd. I might be reading everything wrong.
