Just looked at all the fixtures in championship until end December. Saints must start to win games definitely Swansea and Bristol otherwise the combination of teams below us playing each other and its unlikely all teams above say 5 places will lose or just draw. Also we have put ourselves in a situation where Pompey winning will help us stay 17th. Its a nightmare situation that requires a complete change in our football tactics and understanding that having no prolific goal scorer is just a minor blip and it will all come together in a few months. I don't think Saints realise that we are not that much better than teams below us. Not from what I have seen.

If Saints players cant play free flowing attacking football then the club needs to look for manager in National league or Southern League Division On as the teams I've seen so far don't have any problems playing real football. I've got Saints and Eastleigh season ticket and get some Winchester City games in and the difference in standard of foot is huge. Saints are so negative and cant even shoot enough. For God sake just play football and stop looking at spreadsheets, PowerPoints and YouTube.

Good performance sham Saints cant play more direct through lines with pace etc. Germany won't get passed QF if that, terrible team none of the players are high quality and can cover if pulled out of position. Defence is championship level.

I find it al hilarious at least its good talking points on train from match days and keeps a long away coach trip interesting. If the manager and coaching team are fully reliant on stats for the players from last game and the stats on players for opponents in next game there is no point watching the players in the 90 mins. Its all pre programming the power point or xls, and that's it if x player cant stop y player or mid 3 cant pass round 4 infringement of them its computer rejects 3 point. Its complete garbage in garbage on pitch. Too much time managing player data to fit into a tactics spreadsheet. In stead of one computer model of possession football we now have 3 or 4. Saints have brought a V8 engine (the 9 players) and installing it onto a Yamaha 250cc motorbike. Nothings working except reverse which you don't get on the motorbike.

Must be modern football tactics and training as old programmes show same 11 plus 2 players in squad all season.

Maybe its the slow walking and repetitive passing that's not helping muscles warm up or keep in shape. If you look at players in championship and leaque 1 they are much more aggressive and fast. Possession walking football is for the over 60s like myself not a professional football club. I don't think our players are trained for bursts of speed from a stationary position. 0 to 15mph in 5 minutes

Great game, Saints well in control first half. Very attacking football, through balls, dribbling inside, actually shooting quickly without 25 touches. This made the mens team look non league.
