Its a big reality check to many of tge players both with the standard of play so far, the expected top 2 finishing then was 6th place, now mid table with any further draws/loss means players have to battle to avoid drop. There was a lot of horse shoe football yesturday atthe Saints U21 v Real Madrid U21 game. Real did the side to side nonsense 5 times in row before losing the ball. So even at U21 level the players are still being coached no different them when RM was at Saints. And tgd game was like 1st team some great play but large chunks of the game very boring.

Great last minute header ar corner by Bazunu, keeper great save and Saints equalised v Real Madrid. Maybe put Bazunu up front v Preston as our best header of ball.

Eventually found the FA Pro coaching manual. Its all clear now, the back are the defence and keeper. The draw runners are the wingers. Midfield the draw base and the fronts the strikers. Just visualise this diagram during tge Preston game and Saints tactics become clear. Saints use draw-base-runner-runner-front formation. Saints 5-2 Preston England are using the Pro plus coaching which utilises a wardrobe and mirror.

Players have been programmed to follow analytics tactics. There is no creativity or spark in Saints football. Its so predictable and slow that players can't adapt to any situation. Even taking corners or throw in are wasted. The closer we get to leaque 1 the better chance fans have of enjoying a match and watching Saints compete. I blame the agents first for hyping up the price of players, this will be sorted in Leaque 1. Next data football, utter nonsense and anything to stop managers and coaches applying this to Saints I'll be happy with. I don't see it in non league step 1 and 4. Owners, well I can't see any footballing Owners getting involved with Saints it all investment as its a product. We don't have rich Saints fans or big business owners at club.
