Most of the people I used to go yo matches with at Dell and away stopped going when moved to St Mary's after few seasons as too expensive, players on astronomical wages, difficult to just get tickets on day together, ground in stupid location. Some of the football these days is just garbage for £20m players on £4m a years and that's puf a lot of fans off. The ones who now take their place are happy to sit and watch and spend £30 a match on the expensive foot and drink.

Saints have the more difficult run in. Ipswich hull and Millwall we cant catch only on paper. Some needs to beat Wrexham and don't think that's possible

I think most football prem, championship, championship league, world cup are very boring. Most managers just cant be bothered to learn anything creative and take risks its all boring safe, possession sideways football. Some of the Premier League and champions league is just gabage. If there was something exciting and entertaining being displayed on the pitch fans would not be falling asleep, checking results, just chatting etc. Today was 3 points but ar the expense of any creative football or not much. Fans are even sitting down it was so boring while fans stood up in front and that happens a lot in Northam. I also think the new fans since clubs git new stadium and doubled capacity just want to go to much and watch the football not do any chanting or standing up. Its a bit like snooker now at football but less entertaining. Which is why I like watching Winchester City and Eastleigh to get a break from boring computer football and actually see players playing football. And you get less falling over faking injury to stop an attack as we got today and v QPR.

The 3 teams above us all have winnable games left, even the 3 games v top 6 teams will likely be draws

Its not really about what Saints do , we can win playing well or badly. Its all about Wrexham they need to lose 3 or 5 games or draw and lose

I'll be up in Sheffield for the second time and I'll settle for any win. Last time I was there it was FA cup QF Sheffield Wednesday v Saints, 20 March 1984 0-0. 40,000 crowd and loads of Saints went up, won replay at Dell 5-1.

Some really good football. A very hood performance by all the players. And some very good goals. 500 plus passes and 5 goals I'll take the possession football then if it produces this type of result.

This has got 1-1 written all over it. On paper or on spreadsheet this should be a home win. I think Larin and Stewart should start up front. Don't have Scienza take corners, don't do short corners.

SR will spend big and they have done that in past which is a big credit to them. Its just they don't get the players at correct level bd that Premier League or Championship as they don't have any football knowledge in my opinion. If SR invested in copper, concrete or wind turbines then Saints would be promoted as a wind turbine up front would knock a few goals in.

Saints are too inconsistent to leap frog above all teams and match Wrexham. Maybe 13 or 15 more points which won't be enough with 62 points. The way I look at it is we were definitely without doubt the worst team in championship play utterly clueless football and now improved to a 8th or 7th team. We don't have enough creative players, goal scorers or defence to win enough games. Fitness is also a major issues but that's also due to the slow possession based football that's now a major tactic.

Buying promotion and titles is tge name of the game these days. Saints have wasted astronomical amounts which others teams can only dream about. Saints are the reverse of Wrexham how to spend big and get no where recently.

Gone back to keep ball 2nd half. I cant understand how we can play like 2nd half v Leicester by keeping the attacks going to score then a completely flat performance v Charlton. Maybe as I suspect Charlton was a lets at least get a draw as be cant get through low block 9 at the back teams and hope we get 3 points v qpr and wendesday

What the hell was that. 85 million passes sidd to side. What is the point having midfielders if nothing is going though infront. We dong havd the talent to be creative. Why cant we shoot at edge box instead of 19 touches tgen fall over or kick ball against defenders. Corners terrible. Slow, slow boring boring football. Today was Russell Martin gold plus but without the shots. Cant see us making 6th as need wins to over take teams. 2nd half too light weight, again we can't play 2 halves the same way. Oh well at least another derby next season as one team not going down tge other not going up. Probably draw at Sheffield Wednesday!!

Saints 2-2 Charlton. We are playing much better attended times but I think there is still too much passing to keeper and very dodgy passing out from 6 yard box, especially by keeper. We just cant get rid of the habit to pass back the Leicester away game where just a tap out for throw in would do. But no have to pass allwsy back to give ball away. We have been 70% terrible and 30% playing football, now 30% terrible and 70% playing football. Can we now score more than let in with our 30/70 ratio. Its possible but don't think anyone can predict how Saints play now or what the score will be.

Makes no difference. Its about the players they have available and one come in. Teams that are physical and fire the ball in box or launch it high to bundle in will score goals. We witnessed that at Fratton. The pitch will be almost waterlogged and no real football will be played. Didn't we lose to a team with 9 out!

Archer.....somethings not right. He looks shot. He looks exactly the same as me when playing football at 63. At least I know I can get a trail at Saints next week.

He doesn't look like a forward more like a defender told to play up front. Touch is terrible, control and awareness. Was he due to leave in window? Maybe he's waiting for loan transfer. Who knows.

Decent enough entertainment and a win. We now know not all Saints players are walking g sideways. Some very good dribbling skills on show albeit quite a few ended up going nowhere. #9 looks good and can hold the ball up and score a pen. Players on line to clear and some decent closing down and blocking at times. Again as all season it a disjointed hotch pitch of misfits with no real plan. But I'm not bothered anymore as long as its a win, 3 points or a draw. Decent atmosphere again with smaller crowd, good singing at station (lcfc very quite) and on train to Eastleigh

Scienza definitely won't play, too big a risk. I cant see more than 5 or 6 who played on Tuesday getting a run out. The new 3rd keeper could play.
