Bloody hell , I have just updated my Saints assessment and we will get automatic promotion if we win at Derby. Must have been asleep when bbc updated table as sure we were on 8 points. I can't belive we have so many points.

Every one near me at Sheffield and on our coach said the same about the game. 1. The existing players and the new players play far too much of the game in automatic mode. Attack then stop, check, put foot on ball tgen start tge side to side. 2. One half of the match us allways a free hit for opponents. 3. Some of the players who can and did creative football need to start or ar least increase the time on pitch. Robinson for one. 4. Why are players stopped from shooting at edge box, they practice shooting in warm up. A great goal by Stewart shows robotic packaged football is not needed, just shoot, its simple and worked. 5. Short corners, none of us understand this stupid tactic ans wastes valuable opportunity. 6. There is some pattern and style Saints play but confusingly not all the time in small blocks within the game. 7. Wood is a contender for captain, needs to be full back or midfielder not a forward. 8. Brilliant result, a confidence boosting win. Derby needs to a 3 points or very min a draw. Players staying at England camp until after Derby game shiukd help build and fine this elusive style of play and grt rid of preprogrammed side to side which has got to stop as we give ball away too often. 9. Its going to take until new year to eventually start paying real football so top 2 place out of the question unless a miracle happens. 10. 5th or 6th place playoff but if promotion then who ever runs the club must learn from last promotion and relegation otherwise its a cycle of bottom 6. Need to get back to producing academy players who want to stay at club. 11. VAR is corrupt 12. Agents have ruined football and we must be careful of just buying players who are not interested in staying at club otherwise need lots of dosh to by players to keep in Premier League, but don't think Saints have the money for this gamble which Forrest etc have done.

A win away at last. Take that as two good goals. On the down side we are still too slow, on break stop at half way line or opposition box the side and back. Lack of creative play 1st half, bit better 2nd.

Boro didn't look a top table club to me, if we had players who can shoot on site rather than stop decide then pass Saints could easily havd won 3-1

Too often we wanted to go backwards, sideways, anything but forward. just what is the aim of slowing down game and passing around. Football has got very boring. Looking at the games in bottom 6 today is almost a 6 pointer.

Its very unlikely they watch the players. Certain its all done on stats, like EA26 with how fast run, left foot right foot skill which side better, tackles made, passes, headers. Its all metrics. No one will ever watch a player only at lower leaques. Didn't we get two player for about £20m each and they got maybe 17 goals between them in 2 seasons. That's also why we grt all the excuses, the person can play on left, this one cant do that v this team, etc. Players are so restrictive and only with a few skills. Watching Liverpool game its 100% clear no one goes to a game to assess a player for 95 mins

Goal keepers shoukd never pass across goal or to own player who is being marked or opponents running towards then. Thus habit needs to stop, starting in training as its one of the things our keepers do very well.

Except Bazanu, he's either very unlucky or practices unusual goal keeping.
