At the end of the day, his ‘dressing room presence’ can’t be any good either. He’s been here in 2 of our worst ever seasons. Hardly setting a high standard is he? In my opinion he epitomises everything wrong at the club. He has been woeful for ages with a honking attitude. Yet we throw a long contract at him. Shoehorned into the side at the expense of a cohesive unit by Martin, which harmed us last season. He was also loaned out before that and we STILL renew his contract. I just don’t get it. He’s nowhere near good enough and his attitude has let us down over and over again. I thought we were supposed to have new decision makers? Off to a bad start

This one actually makes sense to me, assuming he’s any good. As stated by a few above, it feels like the striker position is probably the position we need to strengthen the least for the championship imo. Armstrong, Archer and Stewart (if fit) can all score goals at this level. A young striker with potential to go alongside them makes sense. I’d sack BBD off though. Utterly useless footballer. Of course we would then need to strengthen massively if we get promoted. But that’s next years problem.
