Plenty of well performing countries have way lower taxes than the UK. The idea that we can’t reduce taxes by a large amount and still have a better performing country is a nonsense. The government wastes billions and billions. Government spending is out of control, and they blame wealthy people instead of fixing it.

Wrong. The government steals from the productive, and distributes it to the unproductive, in a completely unsustainable way. When income tax was first introduced it was 3% And it was temporary Now it’s up to 45%, & permanent Plus VAT, corp tax, NI, CGT, stamp duty, council tax… It’s all a scam

The problem isn’t the millionaires and billionaires who create jobs and wealth and grow the economy. The problem is the government wasting our money and the countless scroungers. Tax is theft - even the current government think so (at least when it’s their money. They are more than happy to steal everyone else’s though.)

I dunno, I’d say Lallana to Lambert was a pretty good winger to striker combo. Trying not to get too excited about him, because as mentioned above, you can never trust YouTube. But he does look the dogs bollocks, in a way that even De Ridder’s video couldn’t match. Seems like he can really strike a ball. Plus he’s been involved in big games etc. It’s been such a long time since I “couldn’t wait” to watch Saints play. Good feeling.

6/10 Goalkeeper - shocking Full backs - rate them Centre backs - passable for champ. I think they can develop under a good manager. Hopefully WS is him CM - lack muscle. Good on the ball. Hopefully will be enough Wingers/AM - stacked. Fair play Strikers - archer can finish. They all have a lot to prove. Overall very happy, except with the business ends. They’ve given us a chance of turning the ship around.

Pretty astonishing that Kwp, fernandes and ramsdale are the only good players and people that you can say made any difference to the team. Some may try and argue that Bednarek should be included here - but no. He was fucking wank too.

Almost no one is saying bin him off. Just saying he’s been very unimpressive so far and we don’t look like a good team. That’s fair, I think. Hopefully things will change soon.

4/10. We’ve added some creativity, which we were badly missing. I still think we are very weak at GK and striker. Not good to be weak at both business ends. An actual DM is a problem too. We get outmuscled in the centre of the park at the moment. But I want to try and be positive - this window feels like a step in the right direction. Credit to the club for signing some sensible players instead of gambling on young mercenaries. The real problem is, the squad was in such horrific shape, we needed a 10/10 window really.
