This is a good point & I strongly agree. But it doesn’t mean the formation had no impact. It also helped. Both things are true.

Yep the formation played a huge difference. Fellows higher up, Wellington at LB. Scienza hugging the touchline with an actual physical presence holding the ball up. Anyone that thinks this formation didn’t improve us is on the wind up.

It’s genuinely really, really, really infuriating that he did the absolute basic things most people have been crying out for and we looked like a different team. What a fucking waste of a season

I know he’s the champ top scorer. I know we won’t replace his goals because our scouts are idiots… but I still would not give a single shit if he goes. Im so bored of watching him mince about missing easy chances, never winning a header, rarely competing. At least if he goes the club would be forced to do something different.
