  1. Glad I didn't post the picture now
  2. Some mush on twitter tweeting a screen-grab of a supposed conversation with a mush from Skybet saying they aint taking anymore bets for Benega to Saints because they understand the deal is almost complete to sign him... large pinch of the old sodium of course...
  3. I thought it was hilarious and some blessed relief from the usual tripe posted here.
  4. 1000% THIS! Those stupid knobheads would be doing exactly the same. We're not being dickheads or overreacting at all... we're just taking the p!ss out of the fact there could be some sackings. The skates would be doing exactly the bloody same - no two ways about that one. We're not coming across as a bunch of sissy's or anything like that. Those that are suggesting we are worry me greatly! Don't be getting so bloody soft on them lot down the road. F**K THEM!
  5. Agreed. Dickheads shouldn't of uploaded it to YouTube.. Should of kept it amongst themselves.. Thick as you like that lot... Saw one of them on my estate up here in Manchester today...unbelievable!
  6. I can only begin to imagine the mental theories some of the mentalists here are going to come up with if he doesn't sign for a week or so...
  7. Whoa there!! More like Canon and Ball. Lets not get too far fetched here.
  8. Only if you have the time, that'd be great thanks
  9. Revising my gut-feeling then, maybe Wanyama tonight and Shaw tomorrow. Did Forren get a watch?
  10. Because its complete and utter horsesh!t ? ? Wanyama and Shaw announced tomorrow I'm going for. I do love the rumor mill though... quite entertaining really.
  11. Had one of the them the other day (first one for maybe 15 years) and to say I was massively disappointed is a massive understatement of massive proportions. In fact I would go as far as to say it was a real let down. Being English I just accepted this and merrily walked on home. Having said that I'm still massively cheesed off about the whole saga. It's hot 'aint it?
  12. Hasn't Wanyama also played CB for Celtic?? Not saying he's the answer but that versatility could come in handy. Maybe. All the best to Chappers... was terrific in a few really good spells for us. That spell before Christmas in the Championship he was first name on the team sheet. High energy player. Forren, well I only have a few reports from his run-outs for the reserves/U21's to go on. He seemed to be not very good with only a few posters trying to see positives in him IIRC. All the best. Shame for the lad as well though.
  13. Absolutely this. He got giddy and was told the big guns were going to come in for him. They didn't. He stays put and tries to emulate his form from this season in the CL. Good luck to the lad. I only want players at Saints who are committed and will wear the shirt with pride and passion. Unlucky for Celtic though... I think Lennon is reported as saying the money was going to be used to improve some of the contracts his top players are on.
  14. I was quite a young Milton muppet back in the early nineties so don't remember names or faces too clearly. Sorry I can't help with your question. however, it got me thinking about a chap I remember at that time who would turn up 60 seconds before kick off, without exception, move straight into the main throng and produce a bunch of celery and hold the bunch, triumphantly aloft as the left and right-side of the walkway would erupt into the celery song... Who was that guy?? He was in his late 20s/30s back then and wore a leather bikers jacket all the time... Now he's a legend!
  15. Comedy gold right there... I LOL'd at that one
  16. Excellent post and sums up perfectly my own thoughts on this. I do think we have enough to stay up though. I thought last year there were 3 worse teams than us and I think the same again for the coming season.
  17. Agreed. Just need to lose the aap smiley thing which is really distracting and a very bad piece of graphic design IMO.
  18. Just shows how cheap the shirts are though.. I will only be getting one for my son but the near-as-damn-it base shirt retailing for £12.75 is a proper kick in the b0ll0cks never mind the design.
  19. Incidentally Ted Bates is doing a rather good charm offensive over at talkceltic.net: http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/showthread.php?t=128427&page=40 I'm all over this transfer what with tweetdeck running multiple streams etc.. I need to get on with some bloody work really
  20. Call it gut feeling but there are too many other clubs names being mentioned in dispatches and he is basically saying that nothing is agreed... Which I interpret to mean... Get a move on Arsene... These stuffy oinks from the South Coast are serious!
  21. I get the distinct feeling we are being USED here..
  22. Agreed. Victor looks like he would compliment Morgan very nicely. This guy looks like a top 4 player with his physical presence. I said earlier on in the thread I'd be amazed if Arsenal don't get him. He looks like an Arsenal player. Having said that it would be a proper show of intent to prize this guy away from the Celts. I have been reading their main forum a little bit following this story and a perception is emerging that we may be a stepping stone club for some of these unproven youngsters. I don't mind this idea at all. If we are genuinely trying to establish ourselves then these hungry kids can come and play for us no problem
  23. Cracking player and young player of the year in the SPL last season. Very highly rated by Celtic. I would be hugely surprised if he doesn't end up at Arsenal. Hughes at Stoke is apparently also interested but he's not going there. It really would start to look good if we got him but I still think we're going to be struggling to get these big, high demand players when the big 5-6 clubs are also interested. Having a little nosey at one of their big forums it would give them a proper bloody nose if he did come here.. I know they are and always will be a massive club but it really irks me that little old Southampton, who are trying to do something, should have the temerity to even contemplate a move such as Wanyama. Fair enough we are never going to be a Arse, ManU, Lpool, Spurs but 'kin' hell... don't mind us if we have a go FFS
  24. A thread on hobnobanyone
  25. Check out his YouTube channel. Loads of free running videos on rooftops around So'ton. He gets kudos from me just for showing us never seen parts of the city. On the face of it it's lunacy but this kid is super talented and when asked why he wet up there to die replied "I didn't go up there to die... I went up there to live". Not condoning it or even suggesting for a minute this guys actions are clever but he has some skill and ********.
