I suppose it depends on what you class as tapping. Your player to a mate? Your player to an agent? I could go on..

You would think players should be lined/tapped up already. We have a great scouting network and if should be the case of just then going through offcial channels (i'm hoping) Conversely, nobody does a thing until January the 1st

The summer may well be the time to move on. He has served his purpose fantastically well, getting two promos and hopefully keeping us up. He may well want a last (and probably only) pay day and we will then invest in the future. I would imagine it would be him taking the pay rise rather than us shifting him though.
