Fair chunk of City fans seem a bit disappointed he's not being kept around after the tour performances

I'm in a group chat with a City mate who has been raving about him during preseason. Two goals, an assist and MOTM in one of the 3 games (against Inter, I think) I thought he was the sort of profile we would go for. Makes sense IMO

Would be up for Mubama on loan, for sure. He's been doing well on City's preseason tour and he's looked a handful when I've seen him

Would suit Eckert’s style more than he did Martin’s and he was pretty good in that season at this level. I’d have him back, Larin and Adams would be two strong options to rotate

Thought he put some two or three good balls into the box today, unfortunately it was before Larin was on the pitch

FT: Colchester United 0-2 Southampton

Colchester 0-2 Saints Akachukwu 90+2'

On: Azaz, Archer Off: Dobbin, Scienza

Colchester 0-1 Saints Larin 72'

On: Bragg and Larin Off: Fellows and Brereton-Diaz

That Sunderland one is a retail version for the fans. The actual on-field shirt has the box too, saw this listing of a Xhaka matchworn and can see it there

I think Alfie House was saying a few weeks ago that they're expecting another GK to come in once they shift Ramsdale and Bazunu. Probably a younger GK with Long as the veteran of the group of three senior pros

Robinson to Monza on loan, no option - confirmed: https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/robinson-completes-ac-monza-loan-switch

He gave a much longer answer than the one line I've pulled out, but yes he did say the assurance he could give is that there were no more allegations beyond those three

Spors: We had a long conversation with Jay Robinson. He didn't really get enough minutes last season. Now he gets a chance to go to a different environment and grow in his personality and his skills in a way that can develop his long-term career. We think he will come back a better player. I spoke to Ivan Juric and wanted to hear what his plan is. With Ivan's training compared to Tonda's training he will need to be ready to run more

It was so rambling. I actually thought the question was going to be asking if we can stop releasing new kits every year and alternate on home/away releases each summer. But no... it was about the stripes. Not sure how the preamble related to it

Absolutely going round the houses to ask the question as well

Parsons on what the medium to long term projects are: 'Your revenue level is tied to your salary level and without the increased revenue you can't drive your salaries into higher levels. We've been working a lot on some real estate projects around the stadium. We're not quite at the point of being able to publicly share those because we're in talks with some major developers. But I can tell you that they will be one of the biggest development projects around any stadium in the UK.'

Second Q was a bit of a belter: To you Phil, when this happened, the way the club was led, we were in an information vacuum in the wake of Middlesbrough out there releasing statements, photos to the media and leading a storm against us. You were left somewhat lacking in my opinion. You reportedly went to Gibson and said 'sorry mate' and that's about it. We just let it happen rather than fight our corner. We were very quiet. You say respectful but I say we were eaten alive by the people up north and have been left to live with the consequences of that.

'Phil, can you assure us there were no more than three incidents of illegal scouting missions?' 'I can assure you there are no more than three allegations'
