Does it? If he woke up this morning and felt queasy then it's totally fair for WS to say 'see how you are later' and then after getting to the ground RS has reported feeling shitty still and he's pulled him out of the side, seems fair enough to me? The group and BBD would've known that Plan B was that he would step in if RS wasn't able to make it They obviously both wanted him to play and take the opportunity, so I just feel disappointed for Ross tbh
-
Guessing he felt okay to play before he went out and warmed up and then his sickness returned. Been mentioned that he was ill in the past 48hrs but wanted to play
-
Ross Stewart out with sickness, has been ill during the week. Brereton Diaz to start
-
On the morning of the Wrexham game he posted a photo of himself participating in a 'Park Run' type running group who were going along a road in Dusseldorf. That's all I've seen of him, that and a couple of videos of him with a German PT. Don't think he's even been in the country for a good while

Lol that's a 'yeah sure, we'll agree to the buy clause because we've got no intention of ever activating it' if ever I've seen one

We had 10 shots on goal tbf, we did get a hatful of openings

Jack Rudoni is represented by the same agents as Will Still, Quarshie, Edozie, Harwood-Bellis and Archer - so they're well known to the club and Spors has already done business with them twice this summer... Not sure Coventry fans have picked up on that, as I'm currently seeing Cov fans denying he'd be interested in coming to Saints. Can't imagine we haven't checked in with him and his representatives based on the above

Dibling deal is too expensive for us so we're going for Jack Grealish who is almost 30 years old, on mammoth wages and will cost us more overall? Interesting claim from Everton

How to I put my tickets for Wrexham on ticket exchange?
CSA96 replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
No; it’s just deductible against future ticket/hospitality purchases -
THB, Downes, Fernandes, Smallbone and BBD all now in full training, as per footage on Saints app

Our start point is undeniably higher than theirs, we're coming down with a bad PL squad but a good CH one, they are coming up with a good L1 squad. Even with upheaval on both ends, we should be the better side (yes I know... should is a dangerous word!)
-
How do they seem to be unstoppable at the moment? Their last three games they've lost to Sydney FC, Wellington Phoenix and FC Groningen I think we a more likely to benefit from playing them early before they finish their transfer business and get their new faces settled in and used to playing together, if anything

David Ornstein update this morning:
-
To be fair, Spors never said that. Dragan Solak said that Spors had presented a list of transfer targets to the group and that he [Solak] had signed off on going after three of them straight away, regardless of sales. And in fairness, we then signed two of the three: Quarshie and Downs With the third - the creative player - maybe they turned us down, maybe they are yet to move and are weighing up their options, maybe the move is on the cards and is just protracted or a knock-on to another move WS has spoken about how he wants to wait and go after the players and people he really wants, so it might just be that we're in a chain or working on persuading a player to sign rather than just moving on

Udoh’s been playing in the 21s group

Will Still on Aribo: “There's been interest around Joe. I've just tried to give him a bit of headspace, a bit of breathing space to do the right things. We'll just see how that develops over the next few days”
-
Downes returning to training this week and THB is about 10 days away from playing, according to WS
-
Yep, but hardly surprising. Other than the defenders we just had Charles, Sesay, Fraser (out of position) and a bunch of strikers. Wingers and a creative midfielder sorely needed before the window closes
-
I get the impression that WS sees Sugawara and Welington as wing backs, who offer more offensively but less defensively, compared to Bree and Manning, who he seems to see much more as RB/LB types. I get the feeling he doesn't trust Sugawara and Welington when it comes to working back towards their own goal Just basing that off how he has used those four players during pre-season and the change of formation since Yuki and Welington came on in this one
