  1. FT: Manchester City 1-0 Southampton
  2. Correction: Think that'll be served against Stoke in midweek, actually
  3. Yeah, apart from scoring four goals and hitting the woodwork three times in his first 10 appearances in an absolute dogshite side, you mean
  4. Unlucky Cam. Decent effort with his weak foot
  5. Russell Martin booked. Means he gets a touchline ban for the game against Everton...
  6. About a 2min delay but very good quality: https://v3.bestsolaris.com/soccerstreams1/manchester-city-vs-southampton/

Would definitely be interesting to see him in a duo. I feel a bit for BBD because he's not had minutes where he's actually been put anywhere near the box and he knows Archer's game. It's no coincidence we've actually had chances (whether scoring or missing them is another thing) when Archer has been running and pulling defenders about

To be fair, he gets in the right places a lot and he's quick at getting there. Has really decent movement and is an instinctive finisher who doesn't usually want too many touches and doesn't want to pass everything into the net. Even in the Ipswich and United games, although he wasn't converting and was hitting the woodwork/whatever else, he was finding the right spots and making himself available If he gets a second relegation on his CV and another sub-10 goal season, which he most likely will do, I don't see him getting a move and can easily see him having a big, big goalscoring season with us next year. Should be a talent if we can tie him down for a few years and let him find his feet down here, still only 22
  9. Maybe over simplistic and an easy projection to make, but I’m pretty confident that there aren’t two players sat unmarked on the edge of the D if Lallana is on the pitch for the corner at the death.
  10. Like he’d put his reputation on the line for a guaranteed relegation. He’s not thick
  11. So...
  12. He's not making a lot of sense right now, tbh. Two or three games ago when we were losing it was time to forget what people did last season and can't be loyal to people just because of last season chat... and now he is going completely the opposite way and saying they need to come back in because we're still losing
  13. You really think that we would be better than three other teams in the league just by changing the manager? They'd have to be one hell of a player-manager to turn us around that dramatically. And you think the bloke whose last gig was taking Chelsea to the UCL quarter finals is going to fancy the job? Even better
  14. You'll do well to point out where I've said that
  15. RM to Sky... We’re learning about ourselves all the time. It’s been interesting, really enjoyable. We feel we’ve deserved a little bit more at times. The first goal disrupted everything. We started really well. We switch off and concede. And then in the exact same way as we did against United we don’t react. I’m so hurt by the first-half performance. I didn’t recognise my team. It’s on me. I need to give them the tools to respond to the setback. We were soft. If you don’t want to run and fight then it’s going to be a problem. I thought even after the goal, we’ll be fine, but we weren’t. It’s my problem to sort out. I didn’t like so much of it. I feel sorry for the supporters.
  16. There's not a manager realistically available and capable of keeping us in the PL, imo - but we have been particularly naive to start the season
  17. Bournemouth bench giving interviews during the game, like it's Soccer Aid. Taking the piss
  18. Triple sub. Stewart, Aribo and BBD on for Fraser, Ugochukwu and Cornet
  19. 30 minutes without a shot (on or off target) now
  20. That was very naive from Ugochukwu for the goal
  21. Sounds like the two teams are the wrong way round, probably misquoted or muddled his words
