  1. Second half Saints: McCarthy; Bree, Wood, Taylor, Manning; Sesay, Aribo; Edozie, Smallbone, Robinson; Stewart Subs: Ramsdale, Sugawara, Kayi Sanda, Downs
  2. Ball's the same size, goal's the same size... etc etc (tend to agree, though)
  3. Jokes aside, Michail Antonio and Chris Perry
  4. Danny Butterfield
  5. It's 2025 and the 'chatting up' of football transfers happens on WhatsApp, regardless of where clubs/players/agents are at any moment in time
  6. Today was a travel day, with Wednesday and Saturday as game days. So there's only three solid days of training to be had: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (and maybe a bit of today and Sunday on top, if they fly later?) If a player is injured and isn't participating with the group, why would you stick them on a plane drag them over to Girona for three days of training which they can't even join in with? May as well leave them with the larger medical/rehab team back in Southampton, with access to better facilities, and get them to rest up and rehab for the games that actually do matter
  7. Not so telling after all..! Perhaps the minutes players are/aren't given against Castellon and Espanyol will be more informative
  8. I'll go for Cameron Archer
  9. I do wonder if that means we're monitoring the loan market for GKs, presuming some decide they want to get out and play in August. Would leave the club in a position to spend the Ramsdale money on signing a replacement in the summer of 2026 (potentially with the added appeal of PL football)
  10. Asmir Begovic going to Leicester

Ryan Manning: "The gaffer has given us the freedom to attack. He's told the boys who want to cross to cross it. The boys who want to dribble can dribble. The boys who want to score need to shoot. He's given everyone a licence to express themselves." "This year, the timing and quality of our crosses, having bodies arriving in the box at the right time, will make the difference in winning a game."
  12. Yeah, Coufal went. Both of their starting full backs are African internationals now (Diouf with Senegal; Wan-Bissaka with Congo) so KWP is some good insurance against AFCON as a minimum, with ability to be much more - and can play on either side obviously
  13. Must be to serve all of the Chinese demand generated from Cortese's genius move to put us in all red after getting into the PL
  14. I did wonder if it was just my eyes/it being laid down that made me think the club crest was off to be fair. Although, it does look like the P&O logo has not been well done, it's over to one side of the white more than the other, then the second 'spikes' or whatever they are, one touches the red and the other covers the red. But I'm nit picking to say that. Considering the price difference I can see why it's easy enough to make peace with the details if you don't really care to ever look that closely
  15. Not the worst effort but not the best either, I'd say A few things I noticed: the shoulders and stripes are different shades, the collar and the stripes are different shades too, the red is running through the back of the sponsor print and making it look pink and the bottom of the shirt is a different design to the official one. Looks like a flat, straight line hem on that one. Not sure if it's just because of the way I'm looking at the photo but the club crest and the P&O print both look like they've been put on wonky too?
  16. KWP signing for West Ham, got a late offer from them this week and went cold on Besiktas
  17. KWP's pissed Besiktas off then!
  18. Was it Ince who Holloway had a meltdown about us trying to buy and then Blackpool accused Saints of tapping up?
  19. Clearly the marketing team are better at knowing their decades
  20. Agree. The shirt is pretty loud in isolation, but as a full kit laid out, it looks pretty nice and I think it'll look good from the stands/on TV as well
  21. Away kit in full
