Don't think we can forget the players missing, add in the two right backs, Charles and Stewart and the bench options look a lot lot better.

I thought that the three center halves did well yesterday and dealt with most balls into the box quite well. Never liked three at the back but we are winning and if you change that the only way you get three central midfielders would probably mean sacrificing one of our main attacking threats.

I play golf with an ex pro and he always tells me that you cannot buy or train confidence. So with that in mind I am not sure what people expect after four wins in over a year sadly wins are going to be scratchy but hopefully as confidence builds we can improve.

I take some of your points and of course the players must take a lot of the blame, but as well as not scoring we continue to concede stupid goals and have the mentality of a jellyfish. Probably the worse thing for us is taking the lead, we just then fall apart. So what part of that is the manager responsible for if not attack, defence or mentality? Also I get the arguement about not changing and a manager needs time to learn and grow but had anyone seen any evidence that he is learning, I think he is getting worse. Finally I think the problems are higher up but realistically we can't change that or the players so the only realistic change is the manager.

Think we need to give home some time, he is young and in the last month has moved club, and country he needs time to settle in and adjust. Two bad misses for sure but at least he was in the right positions.

I think people need to be a bit realistic, if we waited for this lad to develop and he had a great season in the German top flight we would never be able to afford him, so we need to take a punt on potential some times. His club have been trying to get him to sign a new contract so must rate him I am old enough to remember a punt on shearer. Some work most don't. As for buying top championship strikers, we have some who have done it at this level before so maybe they see something in him that is different to what we currently have.

Don't think it ever proves to be that easy to shift players you don't want, we also already have a few championship players who got promoted before.

And if we get promoted we have all those championship players on multi year deal, what do we do then?
