Yeah I can’t believe anyone who supports this club would have a pattern of consistently moaning, when we’ve won 4 games in the last 18 months. The nerve of it. Keep happily clapping away guys, that’s the spirit.

SR pulling the strings of its new puppet on the touchline

Just when you think you can’t possibly hate this club any more, you see that lineup. Pathetic
-
Yep, it’s not rocket science is it, but we seem to make it extra complicated, and herein lies the reason we now find ourselves just above the relegation zone in the championship.
-
As much as he wasn’t the right fit, and shouldn’t have been appointed - I still find it ironic the level of abuse he got from the same fanbase who’ve sat quietly whilst these owners have slowly ruined the club. Bizarre
-
There’s a very prominent poster here who thinks he’s of a superior intellect to most others here, who clearly has been.
-
Just reinforcing what utter cretins they are. They never go too long without making a horrendously clueless decision
-
Looking at the date of the game, it was MLTs 21st birthday that day too. What a side packed with young talents
-
Huge away allocation too, which is nice.
-
Agreed. Fucking dreadful and even duller than Still which is some achievement.
-
Absolute nods
-
Think this wins the most pathetic thing I’ve seen at saints this season, and that’s with some very stiff competition. Absolute embarrassment
-
Just what need both on and off the pitch (the latter almost more than important than the former with our current situation). Will command respect and you’d think will make sure general standards are upped . You’d imagine he will still be more than capable at this level too in a playing capacity. Get it done saints
-
If it is, he best not bring Von Smallhausen with him as assistant, fucking clueless that guy. The fanbase will go mad!
-
I’ll just have to stuff 2 pencils up my nose and put a pair of underpants on my head and let this one slide.
-
Ok Mr Strawman.
-
Yes it is. You’re misrepresenting what someone said in your questioning to make it easier to attack. Absolute hypocrite.
-
Strawman fallacy!!!
-
He would’ve 100% come here before getting the stoke job, no chance now. It’ll probably be common knowledge by now among managers as to what a circus it is trying to manage this club. A poisoned chalice
-
Actually embarrassing people are wanting Adkins back just because he did well for us in a completely different era. Are our fans really this naive? In his most recent job, he was fired from league 2 Tranmere due to poor results. As much as I loved him, Football has moved on now.

It’ll be some foreigner no one’s ever heard of, can almost guarantee it
-
Good news indeed, but let’s not this detract us from the real instigators of our decline. If they think we will just quieten down now they’ve hopefully got another thing coming. They need to go too
-
Well Spors told us he was our main target and he’d bring an extra dimension to the team…. Group Technical Director Johannes Spors said: “Damion is a player we have been monitoring for some time who possesses excellent physical qualities and the ability to disrupt defences. “Strengthening our attacking options was one of our top priorities this summer, and Damion is a player who will add real quality to the group. Despite his relatively young age he is already a senior international, so we are excited to see him thrive in the environment here at Southampton.”
-
Precisely. I bet he hasn’t got the balls to square up to any of his team mates and demand higher standards, yet he’s quite happy to gesture swear and spit towards fans whilst walking away to the safety of the dressing room. Sums this lot up, cowards.

Now firstly this is not a dig at anyone who wants to keep going. It’s every individuals perogative to go to as many or as few matches as they want to. Some people go to football regardless of the clubs situation, for their own mental health, for some family time away from work and other stresses, and as an escape from everyday life, and that’s absolutely fine and commendable. I am just genuinely interested to know what the breaking point is for most fans of this club when they decide it’s time to stop going to games due to the horrific ownership of this football club dragging it into the doldrums. I say this as despite the ill feeling even before Saturday, we still had a very decent attendance figure of over 27k, even with only 1k away fans. Personally I stopped going or having any intention of going now after the Blackburn game. I can’t bring myself to go for a while now as it feels like I’m accepting , in a way, the way this club is being run. That doesn’t mean I think anyone who’s going is condoning the running of this club, but for me I feel I can’t keep being this anti sport republic and our players, but keep attending, that’s a personal choice. Where do others stand on this? As I’ve said this isn’t an “I’m a better fan than you” debate - just genuinely interested on each individual opinion .
