Has he gone yet? Today was the straw that broke the camels back for me, totally unnaceptable and unforgivable result and in-game management. He can’t continue
-
Funny thing is, standards under SR get lower and lower by each passing year, month, week, day. So much so that you end up pining for crap previous employees at this club (managers, players, directors), as they’re less crap than the next appointments and signings these chumps make. These owners are a cancer who need to be cut out of this club
-
Same. If you’re going to do that, which is fucking ridiculous in itself - you HAVE to win the game. The fact he didn’t and he even lost it, is me done. Hes got to go. Can’t defend that utter shit show that happened today. Another weekend completely ruined

Does this club deserve your support and money?

Some sort of boycott is needed, a sharp drop in attendance noticeable so that it gets reported on, would be a start, Sheffield Wednesday fans came together and have finally ridden themselves of their cancer. Some may say we aren’t in as dire straits as that, but 4 wins in 50 games would suggest otherwise. It’s a results business and ours are now literally record breakingly bad. Our owners are a different kind of cancer, one of complete ineptitude which is ruining our club just as quickly as Sheffield Wednesdays ex owner. Fans need to show some strength and start getting tough on these losers. -
Fucking insulting isn’t it. Learnt from their mistakes, by then preceding to appoint a rookie manager younger than some of our players, who hasn’t ever managed in this country. Fucking pricks

They can get fucked now. I was 90% not going to go to the next 2 home games, now I’m definitely not. I cannot stomach continuing to give money to these fucking cunts ruining our club. 20th in the championship is an absolute fucking disgrace. Sickening -
This is right up there along with a time when Koeman was going through a rough patch of results and someone suggested we “go cap in hand to Nigel”
-
I know what you mean, I could feel the momentum building in his favour when he came within a whisker of completing a pass last night. Watch this space

This is the key bit for me. Even for these charlatans, it beggars belief that they were so naive they thought that this signing, and this signing alone, would suffice. I think they genuinely thought Stewart would be fit all season and bang in the goals left right and centre, which again was incredibly naive/ complacent, based on his injury record to date at the club. But then their whole tenure in Charge of saints has been completely riddled with arrogance and complacency of the highest order, which has manifested itself into complete incompetence and gross mis management of a football club.
-
It probably isn’t, no. But you can understand the frustration based not only on the fact that he is a very poor player, but compounded by the fact that he appears to be lacking any effort or desire to impact any game he plays in. This will get you booed eventually (particularly the lack of effort) by any fanbase, like it or not.

And to think we were told it was going to be a whole new dawn and new era under him and that previous mistakes wouldn’t be repeated now he was making the big football based decisions. Many of us could see how this would turn out, just from him being an appointment made by owners who don’t make good ones. Absolutely clueless
-
Everything around our club is soft as shite, from top to bottom, even our media outlets are too scared to ruffle any feathers and ask questions that bloody well deserve to be asked at the incompetence we’ve witnessed from these owners and their staff for a very long time now. A key case in point is that Russell Martins many faults as a manager have only been publicly highlighted once he went to a club who wouldn’t stand for it. Meanwhile some our lemons even wanted him back despite him making us a complete laughing stock last season and point blank refusing to change anything to prevent it.
-
I’ve said all along that even though he was the wrong appointment for us at the time, he’s still comfortably better than anyone we’ve employed since. Let that sink in. A Sport Republic masterclass in recruitment which shows no signs of slowing down
-
Replace the word smarter with “delusional, arrogant cunts” and I think you’re onto something there
-
They need to leave our club asap before they do irreparable damage.
-
Spot on and I’ve been saying for years that this has been a huge problem particularly under the geniuses who signed us Larios, Edozie, et all. They just don’t get it. They never will. Didn’t our new recruitment guru make a point of identifying pace and power as what we needed in abundance to succeed this season? What happened to that? He’s failed miserably on that front. Should be fired for the Downs signing alone, which is one of the worst in football history for the money we paid at the level we are playing at.
-
Unfortunately there’s no chance they’ll admit Still was the wrong man at the wrong time for the job - I fully expect them to wait until the season is well and truly killed off for us as far as promotion goes, until they make a change. They’ll cling onto every possible olive branch and extended timescale in the hope that their appointment becomes vindicated. That’s the sort of owners we are dealing with. Sickening that we’ve got such ineptitude running our club. It’s making me unhealthily angry when you think of all the incompetent shit they’ve done
-
Dont bother with MLG, he always remains conveniently silent when the club deserves some criticism, and all of his salivating over players and scouts/staff members is proven to misguided. Also if you do genuinely back him into a corner with some of his clueless dross, he will pull out the “strawman fallicy” line, which I think he must’ve learned its definition about 6 months ago, as it’s been a useful go-to soundbite of his ever since on here.
-
Any chance of Sport Republic being offloaded on a free transfer in January? I’m starting to despise them as much as I did Lowe at the end of his tenure, in fact I think I’m there already.
-
Pathetic , weak, spineless , error ridden , slow tempo performance yet again, full of elementary errors, missing chances, giving the ball away in critical areas. And then as expected, zero response or fight once we went behind. As a club we are so unprofessional it’s untrue and that starts from the top. I’ve said it for over a year now, until these owners leave we are absolutely screwed, we will be in league one soon , you can absolutely guarantee that, if this lot stay in charge another couple of seasons. you won’t find more clueless owners anywhere in Europe.
-
I fully expect us to lose this aswell, a team could be bang out of form and still benefit from us gifting them a few goals, we will probably focus on tightening up whilst forgetting we also need to show some threat at the other end, and lose 1-0. One thing I’ll guarantee- we won’t win .
-
Let’s not forget he was Spors main man, the number one striker target for this season, he said as much when Downs signed. He didn’t want anyone else, just this guy. Straggering incompetence, and enough is enough for me now with the whole sport republic circus. Surely time to start making Matchdays uncomfortable for them and get a message across that we refuse to be continually fucked in the arse by these utter cunts.
-
Yep, there are several examples of players similar to Tolaj that we could’ve signed who would have done a job for us at this level for less than the criminal amount we’ve spent on a striker so bad it beggars belief , but unfortunately we have one of the most clueless ownership groups in British football history, so that didn’t happen.
-
What exactly has he done at a decent level? Hes scored 10 goals in the German second tier (which is a lower level than the league he’s currently playing in) in his career, and has only played 39 matches in the top 2 leagues in Germany in total. 12 goals in 39 games in total, and looks totally at sea here. It begs the question, if he’s having personal issues in settling, then the club clearly didn’t do their due diligence when factoring all this in whereby this signing was just a massive massive gamble compared to signing a British striker who was tried and tested at this level, of which there were dozens who’d have been available. Mind boggling

I expect West Ham will get out of it eventually but wolves are nailed on to go down this season just like we did in 2022/23 when a combination of us being poor coupled with the newly promoted sides doing well, sealed our fate. Same will happen to wolves this season. I’d imagine Leeds will just about have enough to stay up and Sunderland would now have to have an absolute shocker to go down. My 3 to go currently, would be Wolves, Burnley, and Forest, with West Ham and Brentford also right down there but staying up
