Ben Garner I expect. It’s like asking if you’d rather have your left or right bollock hacked off with a blunt knife
-
They recognised the need for change and made a solid appointment for the here and now to guarantee survival first and foremost. The difference is we are run by some of the most egotistical arrogant cunts you could ever wish to meet, so they won’t deviate from their delusional methods and will never make an appointment that actually gives us the best chance of positive football results, which is surely the main aim for any club.
-
Otherwise known as a “Grand old Duke of York” team
-
Vipotnik of Swansea top scorer in the league now - somehow they managed to get him on a fraction of our budget. Big strong and holds the ball up, a real handful and scoring for fun. It really wasn’t hard for us to get decent players in with the money we’ve got. You’ve got to be almost record breakingly clueless to not sign the right players at this level with our budget.
-
What a surprise a hipster inexperienced data style appointment is looking clueless already in a league he’s not got any experience in.
-
Yep, just like another huge coincidence in Sheffield Utd’s upturn in form and almost immediate rise out of the relegation zone as soon as wilder took over - a manager who’s also managed them in the premier league and took them to 9th in said league. Nah, nothing to do with the manager there either
-
Nothing to do with Norwich having appointed an experienced manager though who demands respect, according to some on here. Just total coincidence the whole club has had a lift and results have picked up almost immediately after he was appointed.
-
This is the information I’ve been told - that’s all I can say. Just passing on what I’ve been told
-
I know someone who’s very close to staff and players at the club, and a scout who works in southern Europe and recommends up and coming players to clubs in the top footballing nations, told him this at the weekend. Said it’s almost impossible to recommend players to Saints if they’re not on Rasmus shortlist or their profile doesn’t tick all of the boxes on his spreadsheet. He also said it’s common knowledge that saints never go to watch a player play before signing him, it’s all done via data analysis.
-
The more he keeps quoting stats and other hard luck stories based on data, the more he’s going to piss everyone off and make his position among the fans worse than it already is
-
This is the crux of it. I can’t speak for everybody but for me, I’d 100% prefer to get behind and support a team who weren’t very good and lacked ability, BUT always gave 100%, were organised and played to the best of their ability, over lazy, half arsed toxic dross like we are currently seeing. It becomes impossible to get behind people who clearly aren’t doing their best or even attempting to. Makes you not want to pay to watch people not giving their all.
-
Oh 100%, and It also says a lot about the sort of person Spors is. Another egotistical, arrogant piece of work who has no regard for the fans of this club who only wants to hear praise and thinks he’s above any comeback or criticism, completely non-transparent just like his bosses. Hence only wanting to talk during a brief purple patch. I can’t stand him already
-
It’s purely coincidental that those picked to be on the FAB just so happen to be 100% compliant, passive , nodding dogs. What were the chances?
-
Yes , we do. People in scouting networks who deal with saints have to go through him and it has to ratified by him via his data analysis.
-
And they’re not a great side overall either, 15th or so in the league. So that’s a brilliant return in a very mediocre side
-
Looking forward to the data this new geek spews out when we get stuffed at Fratton on Sunday. Should really iron out the problems
-
Sport Republic in their absolute element here, hungry for the potential resale value, He needs to be under 5ft 10 To really tick all their boxes , I’m sure he is, looks tiny so that’s a full house
-
But apparently it’s nothing to do with being experienced in the job you’re being hired to do, according some genius here who’s been strangely silent this weekend. Experience doesn’t matter. That’s why almost every single job advertised in the employment market for a professional role in any industry requires that you have previous experience in a role or very similar Role, and have prior experience performing all of the tasks required in the role. Nah, nothing to do with experience, just coincidence.
-
And this a huge reason why the owners continue to brazenly continue operating the club the way they have been. They know there won’t be any heat on them. This has to change if we are to have any chance of stopping this rot
-
And to answer your question directly - Sport Republic don’t buy leaders, they breed them…
-
Next weekend will be fun with this pathetic bunch of losers representing our club against our fierce rivals - complete with a total rabbit in the headlights little boy as manager who’s been brought up on a stats and data approach to coaching. Can’t wait
-
Spot on. They’ve been incredibly lucky so far with the lack of fan comeback in the face of their shocking management of this club. I think they know that we are fairly passive as a fan base too which is why they’ll continue to take the piss and use the club as an experiment, until we stop being so passive and compliant. It’s time to be heard
-
The irony is we probably had a better coaching set up in our administration season. This current skeleton level of inexperienced dross supporting the equally inexperienced Tonda, is the sort of set up that a club actually in administration would have as a stop gap because they couldn’t afford anything better What beggars belief is we, as a fairly financially stable football club, have CHOSEN to have these coaches and piss weak, inexperienced set up. You couldn’t make it up
