Unless something has changed since last week, I believe the club are working on two players coming in before the window shuts. No other information unfortunately. If we can shift some of the deadwood as well, it will be a nice window. We can still sneak 6th... There's always a team who will make that late charge up the table, and usually they're the ones who do well in the play offs.... I don't think we are good enough to go up this season though. I'm firmly in the 'Its the players camp'. I think Tonda will have a good career.

If feels like when Tonda took over, the team went back to basics, and when he let them play more freely, we looked unstoppable at times. As the weeks have gone by, he's tried to implement his tactics and given the players more detailed instructions....back to being a sh1tshow. Alfie House is right though - It's time to get rid of the RM players, but he should be asking if Tonda is being instructed to play 3 at the back by Spors. It's mind blowing how a team with our budget just doesn't go with an Exp manager and buys up all the best captains /leaders in the league, as well as it's best players. Cortese knew what he was doing there. Lambert, Fonte, Hammond, Butterfield, SKD, Jaidi, Jos - one of the best dressing rooms we've ever had.

What a snowflake.

Some might call this a weak side....but it's not the players coming in that are actually making it weaker. It's the back 3 and manning + Bazunu taking care of that. The players coming in have done well and shown good energy. Absolutely nothing wrong with freshening it up. It creates competition for places. I just want a higher intensity than we've seen over the past few games - maybe Tonda wants that too.

Putting a player in the shop window - It's never been more obvious.

Leo is the real deal isn't he but... When are we going to let him take our free kicks? Adam and Ryan both took it off him today. Leo was not happy...turned to JS who did a bit of arm waving along with THB.

Too many players not at the races today. Deserved to lose and sometimes you have to give the other team credit. Remember where we were 5 games ago.

Just a bit slow and not passing intuitively. V sloppy. Lets see what the second half brings...

.............................(the Tonda pause for thought).....We are back!

Anyone got a stream please?

I thought he was a left winger.

I do wonder if we had GON lined up before the chants started. Classic. As sh1t as SR are - this is probably the right move for now if there's no one out there good enough. It's my birthday this weekend and we're up against NJ. I think we all know how this ends!

Local journos not getting a sniff of how the managerial search is going at the moment.

Marco Rose will be on our list.

I'm not really bothered who is in goal - both sh1te. Bazunu must edge it on his ability to start attacks quickly from the back I guess. You can tell from the press conferences that Tonga doesn't have the personality to manage our bunch of muppets, but I'm sure he is a very good coach. Sounds like 5 at the back is happening again, so we can expect more confusion at the back and a huge void in midfield. Getting to be a joke now.

Southgate & Carsley would be my choice. One as DOF and the other as Manager. Unrealistic I know, but it's what we need. Southgate would sort out the culture of the club from top to bottom. Outside of this, Bo Svensson is one to keep an eye on. We were interested in him before, but after great things at Mainz, he's fallen away a bit. Whatever happens, nothing will change over night. We need a big character in to pull us away from the drop.

442 please Don't care Mads THB Wood Manning Downes Jander Matsuki Scienza Archer Armstrong

Scores a banger and then gets dropped. Get him back in the team ffs.
-
Southgate as DOF to sort out the culture of this club.

Mental taking Scienza off

I agree. We haven’t had proper leaders out there for years now. It’s been a huge part of the problem.

Tonight was a clear example of how washed the players are IMO. We've seen just how mentally fragile they are... It's there for all to see, surely? Look at that last 20mins...you can see them all panic...they didn't know what to do when in the lead with a chunk of the game to go. I'm surprised at the amount of fans blaming Still. He tried to help the players...did all the right things. I think we are making progress each game now, but he has so much to fix after each performance. Game by game he will put it right and game by game we will keep making steps forward. He will have them back on the training ground now and working on what to do when actually in the lead. Get behind the manager and appreciate that he's rebuilding a club in a terrible state basically from scratch.
