Wood and Quarshie would make for a pacy high line defensive pairing. Are they experienced enough. Taylor may remain for left sided cover. Is he good or tall enough ? I think THB and ABK will be sold / loaned Is that a strong enough centre to challenge for Autos ?? Not with Stephens as cover. I suppose we have Edwards also but is he good enough. Lots of unknowns. We have one physically dominant centre back in quarshie.. the majority are all very short ,wood being the exception .

His 42k per and transfer fee can be put to better use. Not our worst defender but never really inspired. Wast bad at championship level but never convincing in the prem Wish him luck but good for both to go in different directions. I'd rather lost Stephens given a choice.

He will now get a bumper contract at pretty much his peak years and a club doesn't benefits from his transfer fee he does in big wages. Yet was still very professional and well advised. He was pretty unothordox .. great comedy value but really a technically poor with zero stamina and awkward more than dominant in the air. The fact he was our top scorer sums up just how shit our season was.
