But downes has a bit more midfield bite somehow . Although aribo has the stature he doesn't have the defensive tenacity of downes. But downes does need to keep his head. Ugochukwo needs more consistency again has the physical presence.

Now play him and Les in the middle to shore it up a bit hopefully

I was hoping for more flexibility from Juric. I was hoping for 4 at the back yesterday in a game we could be winning. Ok play 5 against premier league clubs that are expected beat us but not in a game like yesterday .. play downes and ugochuckwu if you want some solidity but need more up front than sule and a kid, who despite what we think is going to be inconsistent . I'm not sure I want Juric staying next season.. I've not seen enough and I'd question his man management and tactics.. it's like he arrived and knows nothing about the players.

I think the board trusted Martins loyalty to the squad .. whilst commendable some of squad were the relegated members and the other are simply good championship players.. we all knew the squad wasn't going to be good enough and so it has been proved.. recruitment has been absolutely awful since sports republic took over.. with a lot more misses than hits.. we will be challenging for the championship next year I have no doubt.

Think we saw juric will always be a 3 at the back formation..

Anyone who thinks bazunu is good enough for championship challengers is mental. He is crap at shot stopping.. that's the main part of his job..

West ham are physical team we need to match that in midfield. Potentially dibling could do with a rest but we have little quality to replace him with.. Fulkrieg to score anytime

Lets not forget Charles is looking good in the championship. Plenty of our current squad look good in that division.
