  1. Thank f*ck for that!
  2. Koeman played 3-5-2 at Feyernoord as it suited the players he had available, LVG took his formation and applied it in the World Cup. Don't think we will see it again when Vic and Morgan are back, but good to see him adapting to the resources we have available. Nervous 45 ahead for us now.
  3. COYR!
  4. Higginbottom was an unused substitute. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/fa_cup/3025589.stm
  5. I think we will put out the following side: Forster Clyne Fonte Maya Bernard JWP Alderweireld Davis Long Pelle Mane Bench of: Davis, McCarthy, Targett, Reed, McQueen, Mayuka, Seagar
  6. There's a house on Sandbanks where the difference between net and gross is not apparent.
  7. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-plot-wesley-sneijder-transfer-4828790 Mirror says £50k net. So nearer £90k per week for the club if they are to be believed.
  8. According to this he is on £50k per week. We have had players north of that figure. Also he would have the added advantage of actually being paid. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/oct/10/wesley-sneijder-galatasaray-failed-wages
  9. Gardos 3 games? Only 1 for a professional foul I thought.
  10. We will win this, and then hopefully the fan swing-o-meter will be pointing back towards a top 4 finish.

    If

That was the point of my post. The world will still turn and we'll win again. Perhaps we can get a chant going? To the tune of Vera Lynn: "We'll win again Don't know how, don't know when But I know we'll win again Some Saturday "

    If

At times like this we should seek inspiration from Ralph's favourite poem. 'If' by Rudyard Kipling If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream - and not make dreams your master, If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!" If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936)
  15. Schneiderlin misses Everton game as well, joy.
  16. We didn't miss you the last few weeks.
  17. Injuries and Pelle suspension.
  18. Get Mane off FFS.
  19. Clucking Bell
  20. Pelle, Tadic and Steve Davis missing from our best XI, it shows.
  21. Isgrove appears to be coming on, would be amazed if not for Mane.
  22. Great commanding start by Forster
  23. And we're off.
  24. Strong team, lightweight bench with exception of Toby.
