  1. The trust keep banging on about Chanrai not getting the golden share. The thing that may not have dawned on them is that he is probably better off now with the club dead and just the assets left. A new Administrator may trouser the PP for the creditors by liquidating and distribute equally, with 'you guessed it' getting a preferential payout as a secured creditor. The player compromises are only effectively secured if they want to stay a football club.
  2. @Frattoniser: @PKF_UK Come on, we deserve answers, tell us why you are seeking an adjournment? Don't treat us as stupid, we've proved we're not! Amongst an evening of speculation and conjecture it is left to our friend Frattoniser to make the most outlandish statement of the day!
  3. They are in meltdown, the few are now talking of doorsteping Birch at the PKF offices!
  4. No, you are correct - Settlement and Adjournment two different things. A settlement will not lead to an adjournment, a settlement is a settlement and therefore the end of proceedings.
  5. The Trust resemble a group fighting a war that has already been won, just nobody has told them. Merry Christmas Nutjobs!
  6. @mattslaterbbc: Guilfoyle: "...if I'm appointed, I'm confident we can find a buyer to secure long term future of this historic & important club.”
  7. @mattslaterbbc: Brendan Guilfoyle on #pfc "The court papers show the club has become a lot more saleable in the last six months...
  8. Neil Allen's report at odds with the BBC Would be interesting if Chanrai was challenging the administrator. http://www.osborneclarke.co.uk/~/media/Files/publications/import/en/challenging-administrators-can-they-ever-do-any.ashx
  9. Nope, you have this wrong, an adjournment is a pause in proceedings. It can been Court not available, Judge not available, Parties not available, Blue Santa suits not arrived or that both parties may have ironed out an agreement that MAY lead to a settlement.
  10. Neil Allen‏@pn_neil_allen: For those asking who Guilfoyle is, ex administrator for Palace, Luton and Plymouth Roughly translated as, "I have just Googled him"
  11. "I am secured, I will get my money"
  12. Adjourned, not settled. Big difference.
  13. This is terrible news for Trevor '£9k per week' Birch. He will have to soldier on at his pitiful rate. I see the Skates are clinging to straws like Graham Rix clings to a One Direction fan. Face facts chaps, if there is an adjournment and PKF don't tell you why, it's not because you are home and dry. Still, better get converting those pledges chaps.
  14. I drive in Reading, I normally choose the lane with the fewest cars in it.
  15. I personally blame the club for the direction this thread has taken, if they told us the scoop we'd not be discussing the NFL.
  16. You will likely get off if you play it right. Suggest you try this forum http://forums.pepipoo.com/
  17. Hernia caused by gut laughing at Reading?
  18. Fletcher 2nd yellow please.
  19. Reading forum reporting that Guthrie walked off the training ground when he heard he was not starting. They are going to pieces.
  20. Cheers TheVMan Somewhere between **** and season ending would be about 8-12 weeks in my book.
  21. Some on here suspected a cruciate based on the fact he could walk. Chelsea's Ramirez out for 6 months / season with that injury. Would be devastating to lose AL for the season.
  22. @DuncanHolley: @SimonPeach @birdyburch reliable rumour is it is not good news #hardplayertoreplace
  23. Rather save the pier.
  24. Yep, from what years?
