    Yoshida

Yoshi would have easily earned it on that basis. He would start. Has done so well this year, really composed. Hopefully he can continue as such. Always liked him, great option to have in the squad.
  2. Which way do you go on the M4? When they shut the M3 i'm in the habit of darting down the A3/Hogsback.
  3. This is not a drill people!!!! Get in!!!
  4. Well, should we overcome Arsenal. Hull in the semis please.
  5. Lets just drink this in. They have been in the fourth tier for four years. Look back to the start of the thread, the bluster, the arrogance. The absolute cast iron certainty they had as to their profile, their importance. They are, and have proven to be, on the back of their own highly self-publicised fanbase (the bestest)...... nothing but a consistent fourth tier club. Dreaming of League One. All they have, and will ever have now is their history. A history that caused their current status, the most phyrric of victories ever seen in football. Moreso then Leeds' charge at the Champions League or anything even remotely similar. Icarus flew at the sun, Icarus sank. In our lowest ebb we were streets ahead of them. In their current incarnation they will find it impossible to come near us, constrained by their own pride, arrogance and self absorbed nonsense. I do believe it's fine to forget this 'rivalry.' In footballing terms it's dead. As irrelevant as Shrewsbury v Hereford, Port Vale v Stoke. Coventry City v Leicester. It is time to move on from the Skates, they are ancient history.
  6. Technically correct, but as football fans... and human beings who can empathise with those who will be going through hell. This is surely on topic. Thoughts to everyone associated with Chapecoense. What a horrifying tragedy.
  7. What do you mean by 'Call Money?' Think something has been lost in translation here.
  8. Fits very well with the line 'We're drinking in Milan' which I remember from the San Siro visit.
  9. That's no age to go. Condolences to all his friends and family. R.I.P. Chap.
  10. Those new speakers certainly work. Please use them more wisely in future.
  11. That's reasonable. Strong bench.
  12. 17 years old. Doubt they would be here to immediately step into the first team.
  13. Superb reading, thanks for the link. He certainly seems to be a very 'interesting' character.
  14. If you are willing to consider his former clubs, Hatem Ben Arfa.
  15. Would like to see what Puel could do with him. He is possibly the most naturally able English striker out there, would love to see him here.
  16. Wouldn't doubt it! But even then, it's been 'only' three coming in that direction. To sell in the space of three seasons, Lambert, Clyne, Lallana, Lovren, Mané; then add in Van Dijk and McQueen as possible. That would have to be some kind of record, surely?
  17. It may be a little easier for Portuguese and Spanish clubs who to a certain degree can get around the work permit rules we have here for South American talent. But, your point does stand. We are doing it right.
  18. I totally understand how we operate, have enjoyed the success the strategy has brought us and look forward to seeing the next group of talent come into the team and play in our colours. But why oh f**king why does it always have to be f**king Liverpool!? Their chief scout must have the easiest job in the world.
  19. That is crazy. Love it!
  20. Better to have one main issue to solve then the issue of setting up the chances in the first place. Our strikers/forwards cannot all stay out of form indefinitely. Even if they do, then at least the area for improvement is explicitly obvious.
  21. Got one for Dad who collects programmes. Clearly unofficial but nice to have as a keepsake. Only cost a couple of quid.
  22. I would be more concerned if we were not creating chances, we are, consistently so.
  23. One bad result and an international break to stew on it = ***ts ahoy. Oh shock horror, we lost a game of football, whatever will we do!?
  24. Southampton away in the Europa League would mean very little to them either way, considering their history. Been there, done that etc
  25. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Different.
