Better to have one main issue to solve then the issue of setting up the chances in the first place. Our strikers/forwards cannot all stay out of form indefinitely. Even if they do, then at least the area for improvement is explicitly obvious.

Inter Milan - Away Programme (San Siro) - Counterfeit?
Colinjb replied to St Louis's topic in Saints Away Supporters
Got one for Dad who collects programmes. Clearly unofficial but nice to have as a keepsake. Only cost a couple of quid. -
I would be more concerned if we were not creating chances, we are, consistently so.

One bad result and an international break to stew on it = ***ts ahoy. Oh shock horror, we lost a game of football, whatever will we do!?

Southampton away in the Europa League would mean very little to them either way, considering their history. Been there, done that etc

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Different.

Especially the children.....

Chelsea showed their class today, we didn't do badly, they did very well. First time this season we have been truly outclassed, and it's nearly November. No dramas, just one of those days today.

Yep. But, any player who has departed us, I want Bale. (Sod the rules)

Saints 1 Sunderland 0 - Arsenal away in the quarter-final
Colinjb replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Playing devils advocate, 'Junior' international stature. At senior level he is still very hit and miss. I want him to come good, but he is not the first name on the team sheet by any measure. It is so easy to forget how young he still is mind. -
Wasn't there a forum take-over of a Jonas Brothers forum at one point? Spamming them MLG style?

Tadanari Lee? Jordan Robertson? Djamel Belmadi?

Eye injury!?

Sunderland are desperate, and we have taken rotation to it's very extreme. Not sure about this. Fingers crossed my pessimism is misplaced. COYS.

In all seriousness, how do you manage that in a ten year old? Clearly unacceptable and just making things weird for the other kids.

All the best to your Dad Si. Horrible thing to have to cope with, glad you have both come through it.

Even broken clocks are right twice a day.

Can remember this like yesterday. Was inspired by my O/H and some friends at the time to investigate setting up a new forum to replace SaintsForever, only for Steve, Baj et all to be even quicker still!

Always nice to see some praise, especially from a website that usually talks some sense.

The use of our squad has been a real highlight. It also does partly address the catch-22 need for our out of contention players to have the opportunity to get back to match fitness in a competitive environment. Can it leave us 'blunted' when it comes to specific games? Possibly, but it clearly is helping us stay fresh for these matches rather then just hammering the same starting eleven repeatedly and going into them shattered. We have not played badly yet this season in my personal opinion. We have been wasteful and looked a little rusty in the first few games but we have never been totally battered or outclassed. We are bemoaning points dropped rather then poor performances. This tells me we are doing something fundamentally very right.

Without wishing to sound blasé, the prices simply didn't matter. Was only there for small part of the trip, wanted to soak in the atmosphere. Found a great bar in Lambrate just around the corner from our accommodation for the Wednesday night. Saw Napoli v Besiktas in there. Cracking match.

13 Euros a piece for a Birra Grande at a Restaurant just down from the Duomo.
