  1. Lallana? Nope, this isn't worth taking seriously.
  2. He is an idealist, and that makes him dangerous, naïve and utterly unsuitable for a role like leader of the opposition, let alone Prime Minister. He has also been proven to be every bit as hypocritical as any other politician yet maintains the same air and tries to project the same image. On that basis he is dangerous, and so regardless of the respect I may have for some of his ideals, I hate the prospect of him becoming prime minister. It would be disastrous.
  3. I don't think taking on someone with a spine that cannot even sustain a round of golf, or in any way train without seizing up would be a good idea. Let's stick with the guy who has scored goals in Ligue 1 and played in the Champions League.
  4. A fully fit Rickie in his prime? Is this a trick question?
  5. Amazing in a slightly different way, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The amazing clash of desperate poverty, people scratching a living from nothing and living in any bit of land available in the urban areas contrasting with the wealth of a few fortunate ones will stay with me for the rest of my life. The challenges that people have over there make 99% of the grumbles in the UK utterly trivial.
  6. ------------------- Austin ------------------- ---------------- Gabbiadini ----------------- Tadic --- Hojbjerg ---- Lemina ---- Boufal Bertrand - Stephens -- Hoedt ----- Cedric ---------------- McCarthy ------------------ Bench: Forster, Yoshi, Romeu, Redmond, Sims, Long, Carrillo.
  7. More then we have been for a long long while.
  8. Really enjoying this so far. Some good forward play from us this half after weathering Wigan's fearless first half. A goal for Carillo now to get him off the mark too would be ideal.
  9. 2 strikers! Hallelujah!!!!! Appears to be 4-4-f**king-2.
  10. Just a question of any underlying lack of fitness that may be resulting from this lack of intensity. Something that may have been shown in our appalling second half record this season. The next two weeks to build that back to a good standard.
  11. More to the point, I would trust Hughes to stay should we go down. Silva wouldn't.
  12. That's very much my feeling on this. If we cannot get in Marco Silva on a short term deal until the summer, then Hughes is ok.
  13. He was away!? What dereliction......
  14. Not a hope in hell would he jump out of that cosy corner to our hostile plains.
  15. Just so long they stay away from the near post.
  16. If only Sturrock had been more fashionable.
  17. I want to believe that, I really do. That it took until March to sack that idiot........ Makes me think otherwise.
  18. Oh thank f**k for that. Our season starts here.
  19. Steeviee Geerarrrrd
  20. I want this result to mean something but it won't. Same old sh*t next weekend, another three points dropped, another nail in our premier league coffin.
  21. Or at least it should be able to be applied across all games in the same stage of the competition.
  22. 1. Cup Quarter Finalists 2. Mario Lemina 3. Sims is back from injury 4. We don't concede many 5. One of the relegation places appears to already be nailed on. (I do feel for West Brom, their fans must be pulling their hair out.)
  23. Appalling. To die so young when at the prime of life.
  24. Not. Good. Enough. We need change.
