It depends on the context. Have we been in this position for a decade like Everton or have we just started to tap on the door? It's clearly the later. We are not going to break open the door immediately, but there is a structure in place that has seen us make remarkable progress to challenge them in the first place. We need to give this time to see what the club can do in the medium term.... Short termism and knee jerk reactions like yours Alpine will only be counter productive. Sorry chap.

My response wasn't intended to offend Redslo, although I can see how my sarcasm may. It simply is that my experience of dealing with North Americans is utterly typified by your general behaviour and demeanour. Have you ever read the book 'The Miracle of Castel di Sangro?' An excellent book written by the late Joe McGinness and the level of self righteous indignation and idealism he displays at the book's end go hand in hand with your feelings towards this situation. All naively focused on the contractual details rather then the human element which is part of life. On that basis I did find what you posted amusing.

THE MARCH: Saints launch monthly documentary series
Colinjb replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
And already that has been spammed by childish Spurs fans. -
So damn yankie. Go self righteous one go.

I know the history. But this is too indirect for this to be the straw that breaks the camel's back, it would be too petty on our part. Atleti are the ones being dishonourable should the smoke signals be accurate.
-
Why? They havn't done anything wrong. If anyone has dropped the ball it's Atletico.
-
It would be one hell of a sign of progress if we can tempt a player to come here over Spurs, even considering the relationship that already exists. Fingers crossed.
-
Then why did you argue with yourself in the previously posted link? Clearly an habitual liar, just do one.

Do I really need to link to it again? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?50215-The-New-Manager-Thread&p=1957533#post1957533 What a prat.

Marcus f**king Bent.... On the same lines... Stewart Downing for 'Boro in Twitchy's first game and our very own Steven Davis for Villa. That Everton goal was just the putrid icing on a festering cake of a season.
-
The goal that made no difference, at all, to anything. It is hilarious in hindsight.

The Long Overdue Pointless 2015/16 (Adidas) Kit Thread
Colinjb replied to The9's topic in The Saints
It's out today, has anyone received theirs yet? (Hope no-one pre-ordered one with Clyne on the back.) Also, confirmation on the club website of the JD sports locations where our kit will be sold: Newport IOW London Oxford Street Gatwick South Departures Eastleigh Southampton West Quay Southampton Above Bar -
Jos Hooiveld. In fairness, all of the goals in that game could apply to this thread for me. Some other personal favourites: McGoldrick at Preston North End (2-3) Guly at Coventry (2-4, That was quite specific to me, finally beating the Sky blues in their own back yard after years of the locals comments) Lambert v Huddersfield (4-1, He was having a bit of a crap spell, but that strike on the turn was excellent! And against my then bosses side.)

A million times this. The eruption of noise and hysteria when that went in will stay with me forever.

Gold star for you sunshine. Bravo.

TV GAMES: Audi Cup to be televised in preseason
Colinjb replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Excellent! -
Football Manager this isn't. For that reason, i'm out.

What a horrible way to see us out. We were brilliant, deserved to win. The girls have done us proud. On to the third place game v the Germans. This tournament has been so refreshing, it's easy to support a side when you see they actually give a sh*t.

25m outlay = 60k a week. Include the transfer fee too.

Damn, best me to it!

Based on a combination of smoke in the media and what we require; I'm going defensive midfielder, shortly followed by another defender.
