  1. Are we?
  2. He has now officially waived any loyalty fees he may have been due. So it's a sensible measure and in a perverse way honourable as it allows Feyenoord to maximise their income from the transfer.
  3. Davis - Par Forster - Par Clyne - Hit Bertrand - Hit Fonte - Hit Alderweireld - Hit Yoshida - Hit, Really come on nicely. Gardos - Par Targett - Hit, a promising start for him. Schneiderlin - Hit Wanyama - Hit JWP - Par Davis - Par Tadic - Hit, been inconsistent over the winter but a key part of our early season form and our most talented player with the ball. Elia - Miss Reed - Hit, Impressed in the opportunities he has been given. Djuricic - Miss Long - Par, The new Brett Ormerod. Mane - Hit Pelle - Hit, He needs to up his work rate now but the double/treble marking he is subject to shows how big a threat he is, needs better support. Koeman - Hit, Although his tinkering in recent games has not addressed some of our main areas requiring improvement.
  4. It's started, you will be ok. The rule of thumb is a thirty minute drive fully recharges a healthy battery from starting the car. There will naturally be some redundancy in the system though, don't fret.
  5. What a rollercoaster ride he has had. Amazing that he has made 300 appearances for us, another season and he would be due a testimonial! The stories he could tell. Maybe something straightforward. "Thanks to a loyal Saint" or something similar.
  6. Hardly pointless if it inspires a forum member into a lucrative sideline. The insane money that such a redundant player made makes for a relevant discussion, amazing how some football clubs can provide a ridiculous living to those that simply do not justify it.
  7. I meant per month, of course, you are right. And try Coventry for 900 quid a month, a massive shortage of student property there, my old 120k Terrace now yields that for the landlord. And yes, no doubt he wasted his money but had he been smart he would have invested in property and bought three houses for about 350k, rent them out for 800-900 per month and enjoy a 30k equivalent salary without any hassle.
  8. Here's hoping for a Liverpool v Arsenal cup final as our season gently comes to a close.
  9. Buy a few terraced houses in a Student area, live off of their rental income. Can be done quite easily. A £120k house can easily yield £900 a week.
  10. If he played his cards right he should never need to work again based on the contract he had with us. What a waste of time that guy was.
  11. Do you like Clay pots and crockery? If so you will be in heaven.
  12. Haha. No, some of us are too busy hoping that you join us in the top flight. Good luck on the run in.
  13. Yes, I have one of both. I have two Hummels, the Pyjama one and the Striped one. Both in XL. With a few pies ingested they fit perfectly!
  14. Creative and able to bring others into play by holding the ball up under pressure on the wing, letting our attacking midfields/strikers find space to receive the inevitable cross. Unlike Mane or the overlapping full backs whose pace gives them a massive threat but leaves the supporting attackers playing catch up.
  15. I have a match spec Folly white away shirt, otherwise all replicas. And thanks to Ebay I own a medium 06 yellow shirt...... I do need to breath in a little but it fits. Home shirts are my priority, but I have all aways since around 2001.
  16. Only Adult sizes The9. Put me down for one the Newcastle yellow aways too.
  17. In fairness, Fleabay will be the best bet. I grew my collection over a few years by scouring Ebay, it is possible, i'm now just one shirt away from completing my desired collection. (Good condition Adult size 1984 home shirts seem to be as rare as rocking horse sh*t.) Good luck.
  18. Why are you that upset about it, really?
  19. Park at Fenton Bowls club, enjoy a civilized pint and oatcake and walk the 15-20m to the Brit from there. Jobs a good 'un.
  20. Supply and demand. It's cheeky, but common sense. The Villa game could determine if we are securing european football for the first time in our recent history and the last home game for our most succesful ever Premier league campaign.... If we were breaking our pricing structure there would be a reason to complain, but setting it as a Cat A game is more then fair and understandable. It is a critical fixture.
  21. I'm expecting something of a love in, t'will be beautiful.
  22. By that you mean League/Cup/League Cup?
  23. If Toby starts at RB then Tadic must be on the right forward position. Toby is not the type to make surging runs so we need Tadic's skill as an outlet in front of him, let his ballwork relieve the pressure on the back four rather then some overlapping pace. Even then.... just start Tadic, we looked so much better with him on the field.
  24. During the same interview he also discussed how he was effectively told that his first team career at Stoke City was nearing it's end. On the way to a pre-season friendly four of the squad (including Higgy) were put on economy seats rather then business class. He argued the toss, got them all upgraded....... but because the club expected them to be so annoyed that they just wouldn't go, Higgy had to pay for four business class seats out of his own pocket on the way back. Quite harsh, but made me chuckle a bit. Amazing how a club can just be so petty with their players.
  25. Come on Bournemouth!
