Supply and demand. It's cheeky, but common sense. The Villa game could determine if we are securing european football for the first time in our recent history and the last home game for our most succesful ever Premier league campaign.... If we were breaking our pricing structure there would be a reason to complain, but setting it as a Cat A game is more then fair and understandable. It is a critical fixture.

I'm expecting something of a love in, t'will be beautiful.

By that you mean League/Cup/League Cup?

If Toby starts at RB then Tadic must be on the right forward position. Toby is not the type to make surging runs so we need Tadic's skill as an outlet in front of him, let his ballwork relieve the pressure on the back four rather then some overlapping pace. Even then.... just start Tadic, we looked so much better with him on the field.

During the same interview he also discussed how he was effectively told that his first team career at Stoke City was nearing it's end. On the way to a pre-season friendly four of the squad (including Higgy) were put on economy seats rather then business class. He argued the toss, got them all upgraded....... but because the club expected them to be so annoyed that they just wouldn't go, Higgy had to pay for four business class seats out of his own pocket on the way back. Quite harsh, but made me chuckle a bit. Amazing how a club can just be so petty with their players.

Come on Bournemouth!

If it was that simple Le God would be managing Barcelona.

For those of us under ........ Just insane how talented he was.

If Wigan can survive for the best part of 8 years and win a trophy, why can't they? (Surprisingly serious question....)
-
Good luck to them, our second team.

Because they let go one of the policies that had been latched onto by their voters in order to stand a chance at influencing further policies, surely that must have been considered as a possibility? These are politicians after all, regardless of their banner if there is a chance for power of some sort they will grab it. It will happen again at this election, a minority partner in a coalition will make a compromise and will be castigated for it. Will be very interesting to see how they learn from the Lib Dem's mistakes.
-
From a PR perspective it's been awful for them, the floating support that look to them as an alternative has been largely left disillusioned by them involving themselves with those nasty, evil Tories. I completely agree with you about how the two parties have worked together but sadly, all this coalition has shown is many people's ignorance of how these things actually work. Having a sway on policy doesn't mean you get everything you want, you just have a proportional influence in the coalition.
-
Quite. Despite the Lib Dem's disastrous 5 years in bed with the Conservatives Jackie Porter is extremely popular around Winchester, Kings Worthy in particular. Wouldn't be surprised if Steve Brine has a close call in this election.

I suppose we could ask the Skates.

Would be an excellent addition, but this seems a bit fanciful to me.

And only seven games to make it happen. Ha!!

We were held to ransom for a replacement for Rodriguez, Long has come in with the pressure of the price tag, never shirked responsibility and given everything. He is the modern Ormerod with the extra pressure of the maddening fee. A better player is difficult to come by, should it have been that easy they would have been signed. Look at the options of Ings, Austin.... not cheap. Regardless of final finishing position, we have done ourselves proud and have the foundation to push on from next season. Such vitriol against Shane Long simply is not justified. He didn't determine his worth, I would rather support our man then castigate him.
-
I think you lack perspective and judgement. In the context of our season you are mad.

No party trusts the opinion of electorate. No position of 'If that's what the people want we will go with it.' A referendum is not what the people want, it's about what they want to impose. Wrong. Vote for us because this is what we stand for... nothing even close, it's all about slagging off the rivals. F**k them all.
