"Steer-by-wire" systems to feature in Nissan Road cars
Colinjb replied to Colinjb's topic in Motoring Forum
Oh, I know the efforts that will be made. I work in the automotive industry and with automotive suppliers myself. The margins for error before anything is released into the public domain are beyond miniscule....... ....But it's just knowing, knowing my hand movements are not directly effecting mechanical motion but generating electrical impulses. Would it just be driving 'feel' that is sacrificed? The whole notion of it makes me extremely uncomfortable. -

Something of a freudian slip I feel. -
A chance for these boys to prove their worth. Excellent.

He has agreed to join a side in the Indian second division in January and is under contract with them. So no chance.

Can you turn an iPhone into a super Nintendo, for free, without violating the manufacturers terms and conditions? No? Game. Set. Match.

Just checking the results. Nice to see a home winner in the women's section in Jo Pavey. Noticed that the fastest green wave runner was "Dean Hammond....." Surely not?

How was Billy? Beat my target time. Finished in 1 hr 34 minutes 34 seconds. Delighted but destroyed. That seventh mile is soul destroying, running through suburban nothingness away from the finish.... Turning back onto the sea front was such a lift. There was an ambulance for a guy on 8 miles. Hope he was okay.

Fulham away Boxing Day-'neutral' end tickets
Colinjb replied to Wallington Saint's topic in The Saints
Nothing wrong with that, just startled that a stable premiership club like Fulham cannot fill their small stadium with partisan fans! -
Absolutely for it. Having stood on terraces in non-leagues grounds across the country I can only imagine what the atmosphere in large scale league games would be like. The closest I've ever come was the away game at Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup a few years ago..... not the best example for it though. I worry if the grandstands at St Mary's would be too steep to support it, but it would make sense for those that did want to do it.

A neutral end..... seriously!? -
Considering that the old programmes used to sell out about 15 minutes before kick off, they never needed to.
-
I'm sorry, there certain was.
-
No intention of doing that, i'm in the white wave. (I believe the medium group) i'm happy there.

Holding 'ctrl' while scrolling the mouse?

The one dragged across the box with the open goal waiting..... Could you imagine the reaction if Punch, Jay or Guly had missed that?

How many did we craft with him on the pitch on Saturday? None. As I said, we are not going to agree and we have made our respective points quite clear.
-
I will agree with you that he is our best player. For me, our best player would not have made that type of impact last Saturday though. Our counter attacking play required an absolutely mobile front line to out-fox their organised and experienced defence. Sadly, short of a re-run with Lambert starting up front to test our respective theories we will never know. We shall have to agree to disagree.
-
How many goals did we score with Lambert on the pitch v West Ham, how many without? I do not doubt Lambert's importance, as I said, he is key. But due to the nature of the league we are in he will not be key in every game and it was right he didn't start last Saturday, our defence cost us that game, not our forwards.
-
What are the cut offs between the waves? I entered 1hr 45 min on my anticipated time on entry, but I feel I am closer to 1hr 35 now. Confident I won't be last starting in the white wave either way!
-
No we havn't. Yet he hasn't scored in every game he has played. We all agree he is key for us, but I stand by my view that he will not suitable against every team we play.... especially if we continue to persist with the 4-5-1/4-3-3 wing forwards type formation.
