No, i'm agreeing with you that Les Reed is the wrong man for the job. Therefore Cortese made a wrong call appointing him. Showing that he still has something to learn when it comes to running a football club. And utterly proving that his inexperience is an issue. You undermined your own point. And believing that a CEO of a football club should have nothing to do with football matters, you would hope they had a least a basic understanding!

You have claimed that an excuse that the CEO is learning his trade in the job as being rubbish. He has appointed an advisor to help him therefore the point is moot, yes? Then you undermine that by showing how poor a choice he may be for that role. Nicola Cortese's poor choice of advisor could well be part of his learning. It is obvious he is not getting everything right, therefore he still has much to learn. And his need to grow into the role is hindering us in some ways in the short term. It is without question a factor and far from your original eloquent suggestion of 'boll*cks.'

I concur. Not for our benefit but for that of the players. If they believe the manager is about to go how will they be able to give him their best? Hopefully an internal club statement of confidence has already been provided.

You've contradicted yourself. How is it b*llocks when you've confirmed that he has a direct advisor? He has clearly taken measures to remedy the situation, yet as with all business, he will take time to get things right.

The whole club is learning as it grows. But of course, as Cortese seemingly isn't a likable chap he's not allowed the same courtesy.

And to suggest Fulham are a bigger club. Before Al Fayeds money they were floating between the bottom two leagues. Some interesting signings in the 70's not withstanding they are at most a club on the scale of Notts County. Their trump card is simply their location.
