Positives: The away shirt is alright. Negatives: Everything else.
-
Thank f**k it's just for one season.
-
An extremely good point.

I meant more in the all red all white away/home combo. I was ready for the all red shirt, not the all red kit. That is not a Southampton kit. As items they are not bad... they just bare little semblence to the club I support.

I see what they did there. It doesn't work.

Dumb things people done to get banned or whatever!

I had a referral once. Whatever that is. -
Bar in Coventry refusing to serve servicemen after a funeral
Colinjb replied to Colinjb's topic in The Lounge
Trying to appear upmarket may be part of it, but the policy is not formalised and has been implemented aggresively seemingly at the owner and his daughter's discretion. It's not even a door policy, they will even start taking orders only for the management to tell the staff to stop. They have kicked out pregnant women, businessmen, people of varying races, one member of a party after eveyone else has settled in and people of dissability with no formal justification or obvious reason. The only logical conclusion is that they are on an absolute power trip or completely bigotted. And now, their clientelle has spoken. -

Phenominally hostile. The place has been empty since this began and if you mention the bar now it is always followed by some kind of curse against the owners. Note to any business owners, never sh*t on your own doorstep, you never know when it'll come back to haunt you. -

It appears that Brown's Bar hasn't bothered opening today. I wonder if that'll be a permanant arrangement. -
Who Is The Worst Company you Have Had The Misfortune To Have To Deal With
Colinjb replied to Gemmel's topic in The Lounge
City Link Often don't even bother turning up for item pick ups if its near the end of the working day. No consideration for their customer's needs and highly unprofessional. -
On the basis of the lad struggling on the treadmill I wonder if he manages to get to Saints games any more. He was obviously a devoted fan, can you imagine simply not being mobile enough to attend? Hope he manages to beat his probelm.

What the hell did you do!? Mine is over a decade old and still fine, never washed it above 40 C though.
-
The club did release a limited edition replica of that shirt, still wear it from time to time.
-
I'm pretty sure I saw someone wearing a hoodie with that on at the Coventry game.
-
It's even got the local spelling right! Perfect.

There are a few on eBay. I would recommend pm'ing forum member Matthew Le Tissier, he trades in signed and older Saints shirts. He may be able to help.
-
A signed and framed shirt?

Series 1 of Heroes was one of the best Sci-Fi shows i've ever seen, then it lost the plot!
-
Quite right. The hints and subtle indications of what is to come really help make it. It's a long lot of scene setting but utterly essential.

Isn't that Dawn Porter? Stay.

While DS9 is still on the agenda. My favourite Star Trek character has to be Weyoun (all of them). He felt the most 'alien' of all characters but remained surprisingly complex, utterly commited to his own cause and yet capable of some sincerely good comedic moments to complement the serious/villanous parts. Still laugh thinking about the scene when he is looking at a painting, it went something along these lines.... Weyoun, "So, this is a painting, by Gul Dukat's daughter........?" A.N.Other, "Yes....." Weyoun, "Is it any.................. good?" Gul Dukat was another superb character, a great villain.

Oh yes! Brilliant, utterly brilliant. The episode 'The Jem Hadar' at the end of series two is also outstanding... The shock and awe at the end when the Jem Hadar warship commits it's Kamakaze attack, utterly unexpected.

As many of you have read, this place has an awfully inconsistent record on serving people. Their 'we don't need to answer you, we just don't want you here,' attitude which has boarder line racist, sexist and elitist overtones has left a lot of ill feeling towards it. Hopefully this is the straw that breaks the camels back and drives it out of existence. That hollow appology is far too little, far too late!! -

They are already on it apparently. -

The backlash to this is telling me otherwise.
